After chatting briefly with his two colleagues, Yin Chen finished his Polar Storm drink and leisurely went backstage. Meanwhile, Kasai went up to the stage on the ground floor, the one used by the bar's professional staff to perform, and began his magic show.

The noisy mermaids in the backstage dressing room fell silent upon seeing Yin Chen arrive. One by one, they quietly and cautiously swam along the wall and slipped out of the dressing room, leaving only one boy mermaid who looked like he was still a minor behind.

The mermaid had a gradient blue-purple tail, purple eyes, and long purple hair. She was exquisitely beautiful and quite cute even with a grumpy face.

Yin Chen paid no attention to their fear, swam to his seat, and sat down with his long golden tail trailing behind him. He greeted the boy with a smile: "Hey, boss, who made you angry again?"

Jiu Li frowned and snorted, "None of your business! Didn't you have the day off today? Why did you suddenly come over? Let me tell you, even if you worked today, you wouldn't get paid!"

"I'm not here to work, I'm here to have fun." Yin Chen scratched his cheek, leaned on the dressing table, and starlight floated in his dark eyes, making him look alluring yet dangerous.

"Hmm?" Jiu Li exhaled through her nose to express her confusion.

"To avoid becoming a pedophile..."

Jiu Li gave him a disgusted look and sneered, "Tsk tsk, you pervert have such a kind heart?"

“Hehehe…” Yin Chen chuckled softly, but did not refute Jiu Li’s statement.

An awkward silence fell over the room.

A moment later, Jiu Li got up and swam towards the door. Just as she was about to leave, she threw out an awkward sentence: "Have fun."

Yin Chen chuckled softly again, drawing out his reply, "Yes, boss!"

After Jiu Li left, Yin Chen lay down for a while, then straightened up and looked at the mermaid reflected in the crystal mirror.

One by one, the buttons of the pristine white shirt were undone, revealing a well-defined chest. Then, the only piece of clothing was carelessly tossed onto the dressing table. The naked golden-tailed mermaid reached out and picked up a makeup brush from the table.

Long Xun stood at the entrance of the Mystic Bar, looking up at the sign. The doorman who was supposed to come up to greet him was completely stunned when he saw him, like a unique and realistic sculpture.

The elegant black robe accentuated her tall and slender figure, while her long, silvery hair cascaded down her back, tied only at the ends. The wide sleeves exuded a unique elegance.

His golden vertical pupils were calm and unwavering, as if a high god were looking down upon the mortal world, and a faint languor emanated from his relaxed brows. He had a very approachable demeanor, yet the aura of authority he exuded made Yu Qing feel involuntarily awe.

It was as if a god walking in the sky had suddenly descended.

Even though his form was strange and unlike anything seen by mermaids, his two identical tails (legs) stood upright on the ground, his tail fins (feet) supporting his body forward, while the remaining silver tail lazily drooped to the ground, occasionally swaying, its faint, cold silver light revealing just how powerful this tail was.

Long Xun calmly withdrew his gaze and stepped into the Enchanted Bar.

In an instant, the tranquil atmosphere was shattered. Intense and rhythmic music assaulted the eardrums. Under the dim and chaotic flashing lights, the mermaids swayed their bodies wildly to the rhythm of the music. Chaotic waves crashed against their skin, and the enthusiastic atmosphere infected every fish that entered the place like a virus.

The mesmerizing, colorful mist condensed and spread throughout the space, and the source of those mists was a cold-faced, black-tailed deep-sea mermaid. He wore a formal tailcoat, and his black fishtail was a deep, rich color. His hands moved nimbly, and tiny seahorses, jellyfish, and small fish darted through the mist he created.

It's quite magical.

Long Xun slowly walked towards the bar. His face was illuminated by the lights, and any mermaid who happened to glance over would stand there dumbfounded, showing a look of infatuation.

Just as the unusual movement was about to be noticed by most of the mermaids, Kasai on the stage finally ended his target. The sudden darkness completely concealed Long Xun. After a few seconds of silence, a beam of light shone down on the stage.

"Hehehehe..."

The grotesque laughter emanated from the stage, every breath and exhale was deafening, like a demon stirring the hearts of the fish. Even knowing the danger, it still made every fish go wild.

"Aaaaaah—!"

"Emperor Chen! Emperor Chen! Emperor Chen!"

"I love you!! Your Majesty! Look here! Look here!"

The frenzied screams nearly blew the roof off the Mystic Bar, and the shockwaves caused the small room to churn and swirl, almost forming a whirlpool.

There are seven kings in the Mermaid World. One king guards each of the four cardinal directions: east, west, south, and north. The vast central region is guarded by two Mermaid Kings: the Volcano Mermaid of the East, the Polar Mermaid of the North, the Witchcraft Mermaid of the West, the Shallow Sea Mermaid of the South, and the Mountain Mermaid and Crystal Mermaid of the Central Region.

Above the six kings, there is an ancient lineage of mermaids who are the royal family.

Nowadays, the social class of mermaids is not so obvious. There is no difference between royalty and ordinary mermaids. They all need to work hard to make a living. However, compared to other mermaids who are easy to meet, royal ancient mermaids are very rare.
