Sitting in the company's conference room, Sister Wang said, "This role is practically yours. You need to hone your acting skills now, or you might end up playing a piece of garbage and get criticized by the audience."

Bai Yan asked, "Are you sure the role is mine?"

"Of course." She's a veteran at Star Entertainment, and has launched many stars in the past. She naturally has the skills and abilities.

Bai Yan's gaze fell out the window as a line of luxury cars drove into the company's underground parking garage.

A cold glint flashed in her eyes, and she curled her red lips slightly: "That's not necessarily true."

Seated in the first row of the conference room were several directors of Xingyu Entertainment, signed directors, and collaborating producers. The remaining rows were occupied by top-tier celebrities. Bai Yan, despite her popularity, lacked substantial achievements and was relegated to the back rows.

"Why aren't they here yet? It's past nine o'clock!"

Ji An'an and Bai Yan are artists in the same company. She was sitting in front of Bai Yan and turned to look at her: "Sister Yan, guess who our new boss is?"

After the shareholder meeting announced the change of shareholders, the company will proceed with the approval of its next filming project. "I quit!" Wang Man has always had a fiery temper. If it weren't for this, she, a top agent who has trained many people, wouldn't have been dumped to manage Bai Yan.

She slammed the door shut and left.

After Wang Man left, he could only glare at Bai Yan before coldly announcing, "Meeting adjourned."

Before Bai Yan could even move, Ji An'an turned to look at her, her dimples appearing as she smiled: "Sister Yan, didn't you say you were going to take everything from me? Well, you might be disappointed now."

Bai Yan merely raised an eyebrow, then smiled gently: "Is that so?"

Ji An'an moved closer to her, her innocent face tinged with cruelty: "You said you were going to take my things away, but now it's me who's taken your leading lady role!"

But Bai Yan's face still showed no sign of anger.

Ji An'an looked up at her: It's an act, it must be an act!

What she wants most is her father's and brother's love. How could someone who used to be so hysterical change so quickly?

Bai Yan got up, and Ji An'an followed her out. When she saw that Bai Yan was heading towards the president's office, she raised an eyebrow and said that Bai Yan was just pretending. She must have gone to find her brother now.

Bai Ruohan heard the voice and looked up, seeing Bai Yan.

He suppressed his displeasure, knowing that Bai Yan would cause trouble again... because he favored An An.

No matter how much she made a fuss, what belonged to An'an would always belong to her.

"I'm here to terminate my contract." Bai Yan looked at Bai Ruohan: "The contract I signed was a D-level artist contract with the company.
