"From now on, Your Majesty will be responsible for being beautiful as a flower, and I'll be responsible for arranging flow...
Looking at the trembling Shen Ye, Xiao Jingran's expression remained cold and stern. A sneer appeared on her lips as she disdainfully flicked him away. She stood up, looking down at him with utter disgust in her eyes.
"Fine, you said it." He turned and left, not even sparing him a glance.
Listening to the footsteps fading into the distance until they disappeared from sight, Shen Ye finally let out a long sigh of relief, his slightly sickly fingers touching his slightly swollen lips.
"What a twisted mind. We're old acquaintances, yet they show no mercy whatsoever."
On the other side.
The room was pitch black, filled with the smell of tobacco, and the biting, powerful air conditioning had lowered the temperature by several degrees. Despite it being the summer solstice, it was still so cold it was breathtaking.
A man sat leaning against the window, his eyes slightly closed, his long legs crossed, a half-smoked cigarette between his right fingers, and his left fingers tapping the coffee table next to him, making a chilling sound.
The doctor who was taking care of Shen Ye couldn't help but speak up and respectfully asked, "Commander, why not just kill him?"
The man remained silent, a sense of oppression spreading through the air and into the doctor's nerves, as if the air itself had solidified. The doctor kept his head down, and Xiao Jingran didn't speak; he didn't even dare to breathe.
After a long, long time, Xiao Jingran slowly opened his eyes, his cold gaze fixed on the dense forest outside the window. He raised his hand, took a drag of his cigarette, and calmly blew a smoke ring out of his mouth, exhaling it towards the window. The smoke drifted slowly down the window towards the woods.
His deep eyes were fixed on a tall tree in the forest. On the tree, a colorful butterfly had fallen onto a spider web and was struggling desperately for a chance to survive. The large, black spider, however, slowly and steadily crawled in, as if the butterfly was already its prey, unable to escape, and therefore in no hurry at all.
A wicked smile played on his lips as he stood up from his chair, walked to the table, slowly poured himself a glass of red wine, and took a leisurely sip.
He swirled his wine glass with a wicked grin, glancing slightly at the person behind him, and said in a deep, husky voice, "Watch your tongue. If you really don't want it, cut it off and feed it to the dogs yourself."
His eyes, like bottomless pits, flashed with a cold, piercing light, like a wild beast lurking in the jungle, waiting to deliver a fatal blow to its prey.
The cold night was made even colder by the silvery moonlight.
Shen Ye didn't know how long he had slept, but the strange feeling of not being able to move his body woke him up. He looked down and found that his hands and feet had been fixed to the bed with *censored keywords* and he couldn't move.
Xiao Jingran's voice rang out in the darkness, "Awake? You were sleeping so soundly."
Stripped naked, a cold wind blew in, chilling her to the bone. Faced with this position, Shen Ye was both shocked and frightened. "What are you going to do? Let me go!"
The cold moonlight streamed into the room, and Shen Ye saw the wicked smile on Xiao Jingran's face, a smile so arrogant it was frightening. He was wearing a bathrobe, and his muscular chest was faintly visible in the darkness.
"So, what do you think we should do tonight?" Xiao Jingran picked up a silver baton and examined it closely, then turned to Shen Ye and said, "How about using this?"
"No...you pervert, let me go! Let's talk this out..." As he spoke, the silver stick landed on Shen Ye's lower abdomen. A strange chill, like a snake slithering across his skin, made him cry out, "What...what is this? Take it away...I don't want it..."
