Rebirth 1983: I'll Make the Ungrateful Children Kneel and Beg for Mercy

Su Jianguo took his last breath on his sickbed, still hearing the quarrel of his five children fighting over 300,000 yuan for surgery fees.

When he opened his eyes again, he had returned to t...

Chapter 163 Five hundred yuan is enough to buy your whole family's lives.

Su Mingfu was completely dominated by desire. He roughly pressed Xiaomei into the corner of the tricycle and kissed her neck and collarbone haphazardly.

Xiaomei pretended to struggle, but secretly guided his movements.

"Mingfu...we can't do this..."

Xiaomei's voice trembled, but her eyes gleamed with calculation.

"If your dad finds out..."

When his father was mentioned, Su Mingfu paused for a moment, but was quickly overwhelmed by desire again.

"No matter what... I want you..."

Xiaomei watched the boy's absorbed expression with satisfaction, knowing that her plan had been largely successful.

She deliberately stopped the tricycle some distance from her home, then helped Su Mingfu walk towards her house.

"Sister Xiaomei...where are we going?"

Su Mingfu asked drunkenly, his steps unsteady.

"Going to my sister's house..."

Xiaomei's voice was as sweet as honey.

"Sister will make you some hangover soup..."

Xiaomei half-supported, half-carried the drunken Su Mingfu, who was practically hanging on her, mumbling incoherently.

"Sister Xiaomei... have one more drink..."

Xiaomei's lips curled into a smug sneer as she deliberately draped Su Mingfu's arm over her shoulder, feeling the boy's burning body temperature.

Just as they were about to turn into their own courtyard, a "click" sound of a bicycle chain turning suddenly came from the alley entrance.

Su Jianguo rode his bicycle into the alleyway.

Having just been threatened by Deputy Director Liu at the store, Su Jianguo was in a bad mood, his face constantly sullen.

Upon entering the alley, Su Jianguo saw a woman in a red woolen coat supporting a drunken man as he staggered along.

Su Jianguo glanced at it casually, thinking to himself, "It's another drunkard being brought home by his wife."

He slowed down and prepared to drive around it.

Just as they were about to cross paths, Su Jianguo's light shone directly into the drunkard's face.

He slammed on the brakes, the tires leaving a trail in the snow.

"Third brother!"

A sharp shout, like a thunderclap, rang out in the quiet alley.

Xiaomei trembled all over, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, and almost pushed Su Mingfu to the ground.

Startled by the shout, Su Mingfu turned around, his eyes still blurry with drunkenness.

Su Jianguo stood on his bicycle with one foot on the ground, his face so gloomy it could drip water.

He squinted and, by the light of the streetlamp, saw his son's flushed face and Xiaomei's red dress.

"father..."

Su Mingfu sobered up instantly, his voice trembled, and he subconsciously tried to back away from Xiaomei.

Su Jianguo slammed his bicycle to the ground with a bang and rushed forward.

He grabbed Su Mingfu by the collar and swung his right hand, delivering two resounding slaps.

"Slap! Slap!"

The crisp sound of a slap echoed through the alley.

Su Mingfu was knocked to the side by the blow, and bright red finger marks immediately appeared on his face.

"Are you sober yet?"

Su Jianguo's voice was as cold as ice.

Su Mingfu covered his face, his lips trembling.

"I'm awake..."

"Smack!"

Another slap in the face.

"I asked you if you're sober yet!"

Su Jianguo's voice rose eight octaves.

"He's awake! He's really awake, Dad!"

Su Mingfu cried out, his voice trembling with sobs. Now that he was fully awake, he remembered the absurd things that had happened in the restaurant and wished he could disappear into the ground.

Su Jianguo loosened his collar and pointed in the direction of his home.

"Go home and kneel down!"

Su Mingfu felt as if he had been granted a pardon and ran home as fast as he could, not daring to even glance at Xiaomei.

Su Jianguo watched his son's staggering figure disappear into the distance, his eyes so dark they seemed to drip water.

He slowly turned around, his gaze sweeping over Xiaomei standing to the side.

"Uncle Su, please let me explain..."

Xiaomei forced a smile.

Su Jianguo raised his hand to stop her and walked straight towards Xiaomei's courtyard gate.

"Uncle Su! What's wrong...?"

Xiaomei jogged after her, her voice filled with panic.

Su Jianguo walked to Xiaomei's door and kicked her.

A loud "bang" was heard.

The wooden door was kicked so hard it shook violently, and the latch broke.

"Which bastard dares to kick down my door?!"

A sharp curse came from the courtyard, and the old woman who had been waiting for news in the courtyard quickly came out.

When the old lady saw Su Jianguo standing at the door, she was first stunned, then her triangular eyes widened, and she pointed at Su Jianguo's nose and started cursing.

"Su Jianguo! What's wrong with you? Kicking down my door in the middle of the night, do you think I'm an easy target?"

Su Jianguo walked into the courtyard expressionlessly, picked up a bamboo stool from the corner of the wall, placed it steadily in the center of the courtyard, and then slowly sat down.

The entire process was conducted without a single word, yet it exuded a suffocating sense of oppression.

The old lady was taken aback by this unusual behavior, and her cursing stopped abruptly.

She looked at Su Jianguo suspiciously, then at Xiaomei who followed her in, a hint of unease flashing in her cloudy eyes.

"What...what kind of show is this?"

The old lady's voice was noticeably weaker.

Xiaomei quickly walked to her mother-in-law's side, leaned close to her ear and whispered a few words.

The old lady's face turned deathly pale instantly.

The courtyard was eerily quiet, with only the occasional barking of dogs coming from afar.

Su Jianguo sat on a bamboo stool, his hands clasped in front of his knees, looking calmly at the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.

"Mr. Su... Mr. Su."

The old lady finally spoke.
