Dark fog, extreme cold, meteor showers, extreme heat, zombies, mutated flora and fauna, insect swarms, beast surges...
The Water Blue Star suddenly entered an apocalypse without warning.
<...Banxia and her group chatted casually for a few minutes, then grabbed their weapons and headed out.
They are reluctant to fight, but if someone is reckless and insists on dying, they will not be lenient or polite!
Su Yao happily hugged the giant pineapple, almost completely forgetting his anger at being disturbed: "Hey—"
The short, stocky man looked up abruptly, and seeing the group of men who had all come out carrying guns, he couldn't help but tremble: "You, you, I, I..."
He hesitated for a long time, unable to utter a complete sentence, and finally, he took off running.
Su Yao clicked his tongue: "So cowardly, yet you dare to rob someone's door?"
While talking, his hands didn't stop; he pulled the trigger and fired at the man's head, and the man instantly fell to the ground, unable to get up.
Banxia spotted Jiang Chao on the log bridge. Although she didn't quite understand why he was hanging out with this group of people who clearly weren't good people, she decided to give him a chance out of consideration for their past acquaintance: "Don't kill the one on the bridge yet, I know him."
Knowing this was not the time to ask questions, Su Yao and his companions tacitly pointed their guns at the others.
The bald man never expected that his routine selection of indigenous people for demonstrations would inadvertently provoke a living devil. He opened the car door, slipped behind the vehicle, and then secretly pulled out a pistol from his waist, aiming at the man who fired the first shot.
Since he can't live, he'll take someone down with him when he dies!
"Bang--"
Su Yao's eyes narrowed sharply as he watched the bullet hurtling towards his forehead.
A myriad of emotions flashed through his mind, but in the end, only one thought remained: I don't want to die, I haven't lived enough yet!
He tried to dodge, but his feet seemed rooted to the spot, and he couldn't move an inch!
Su Yao closed his eyes in despair, "My life is over!"
Nanxing keenly sensed the danger and erected a mental barrier in front of Su Yao, causing the bullet to explode instantly.
Su Yao opened his eyes trembling, panting heavily with sweat on his face: "Thanks, brother!"
Nanxing patted his shoulder reassuringly: "You're welcome, don't get distracted!"
Su Yao awkwardly wiped away his sweat: "There will absolutely be no next time!"
Enraged, he unleashed a fireball that pierced through the bald man's forehead.
He then realized that although he said he wasn't afraid of death, he was actually afraid inside.
Fang Yunyun and Su Xiao were both anxious and angry, so they acted even faster. The remaining intruders were soon turned into corpses, and the red blood mixed with the rainwater gave off a strong fishy smell.
Two female survivors, who had been hiding hundreds of meters away, glared at the corpse on the ground with hatred, saying with resentment, "Good riddance! Good riddance!"
After cursing, they couldn't help but cry. They had finally escaped the flooded village and their lives were gradually getting back on track, but suddenly they lost their pillar of support. How were they going to live in the future?
Someone inside the house beckoned to the two women in a low voice: "Come back quickly, it won't be good if you catch a cold and get sick, we don't have any medicine."
Nanxing handed the gun to Banxia and put it into her spatial storage. She then walked up to the boy who was huddled up in a ball and asked, "Jiang Chao, what are you doing here?"
Jiang Chao awkwardly clasped his hands together and remained silent.
Nanxing had some guesses in her mind, that he had been betrayed or had some kind of accident and was stranded alone. Seeing the boy's resistant posture, she didn't ask any more questions, but said gently, "There are many empty houses in the villa area. If you have nowhere to go, you can find one to stay in."
After saying that, he ignored the boy and turned to use his supernatural ability to repair the barbed wire.
Banxia hesitated for two seconds, then silently handed the umbrella and a few compressed biscuits to the boy, and pulled Nanxing home.
"Thank you, I will repay you. Many places in the city are flooded up to the first floor, and more people will be going up the mountain. Please be careful."
The boy's low, hoarse voice rang out, faintly tinged with a sob.
Banxia waved her hand casually: "No need to thank me. Your information is very valuable, so we're exchanging it for something of equal value."
Jiang Chao opened his mouth, how could this be compared?
As Jiang Chao said, the situation in the city was very bad, and for the next period of time, survivors entered Miaomiao Mountain almost every day.
This time, however, no one was stubborn enough to try to force their way into the trenches; instead, they tacitly agreed to find empty houses to stay in.
These past few days, Banxia and the others haven't stepped out of their own front door. Su Yao's family was frightened by the near-accident Su Yao had in last time, and they've been practicing their supernatural abilities at home every day.
Banxia occasionally overheard Su Yao complaining to Nanxing over the walkie-talkie that he was either beaten by his wife or his sister all day long, and if he showed any signs of being slacking off, he would be subjected to a mixed doubles beating.
To this, Banxia can only say: Well done!
Although Zhao Xuan and Cai Yuan on the other side didn't fight as hard as Su Yao, they also intensified their training. The vegetables and fruits they grew at home were so plentiful that there was no room to put them, and they even made a lot of dried vegetables and pickles.
Banxia also intensified her training of Nanxing and the two mutated trees with four furry hairs. She even fed the damaged zombies with the corpses of their own kind multiple times, which caused two of the level three zombies to upgrade to level four.
Nanxing hugged Banxia: "Wife, I request to take a day off tomorrow."
After he finished speaking, the four furry creatures and the mutated tree also looked at Banxia expectantly.
It's not that they weren't working hard; they had been training continuously for over a month, and they could almost count the number of hairs on the sparring zombies.
Banxia looked at the several animals, who all looked exhausted, and said, "Alright, but you can only rest for one day!"
"Thank you, wife," Nanxing breathed a sigh of relief, took Banxia's hand and led her into the house, "What do you want to eat for lunch today? I'll make it for you."
Aren't you tired?
"Not tired."
However, Banxia still couldn't bear to let Nanxing cook. She casually took some food to eat and then sent him into the bedroom to rest, while she went out of the space alone.
