This story is purely fictional. Historical figures who do not exist may appear, and the ages of some characters may not align. Please consider it an alternate history.
1. Kangxi's Harem: ...
Attracting outstanding members of the opposite sex is a piece of cake.
Jia Yue's move was simple. She didn't have much stuff; the new house had all the pots, pans, and utensils she had, and they were all new. She put some of her things in her online storage space.
They took away small, loose items such as clothes, blankets, and kettles, and sold the items that were difficult to carry to their neighbors at a low price.
The items weren't a lot, but they weren't a little either.
Yin Zheng drove here in his father's military vehicle, which was usually used for the Yin family's transportation. It wasn't considered misuse of public resources, and he only needed to pay for the fuel himself.
After getting into the car, Liu Shan drove and soon arrived at the courtyard. The courtyard had been tidied up in advance, and the two of them helped unload the luggage from the car and put it away according to Jia Yue's instructions.
Afterwards, Jia Yue said, "We just moved, so I should treat you to a housewarming meal. But we don't have any ingredients. How about this, we'll go to a state-run restaurant for a meal, and I'll cook another housewarming meal for you tomorrow."
Yin Zheng and Liu Shan are naturally fine.
After the meal, Jia Yue parted ways with the two men.
Liu Shan watched Jia Yue's retreating figure, then said to Yin Zheng, "Cousin, are you serious?"
"What do you mean, 'seriously'?"
Are you serious about Xu Jiayue?
"It couldn't be more real."
Will my third aunt and uncle agree?
Although Yin Zheng's father wasn't among the ten people standing at the very front, he was one of those who stood with others listening to the speeches. He was a founding father with considerable merit and held an important position.
Such a family background puts them in the top tier.
His sisters-in-law all come from good families; they are mostly daughters of Yin's father's comrades-in-arms. Regardless of their personal qualities, their family backgrounds are all excellent.
“The situation is different now. I’ve told my mother that I value character more in my future wife. As for family background, as long as she’s clean, that’s fine. Jia Yue is a good match.”
Although the orphan girl has no mother and daughter to help her, she will not be a burden either. She does not need the help of her in-laws; the power of the Yin family and her own abilities are enough for her to exert her influence.
Liu Shan said nothing more, but felt a little lost. This feeling was like a gentle breeze that quickly dissipated, so quickly that he didn't even realize it.
"Then I wish you success in winning the heart of your beloved soon."
Thanks!
Yin Zheng smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

On a side note: This historical fiction is basically ruined. I can't continue writing it. I don't know where to start. The female lead doesn't have a clear goal. The more I write, the more vague and elusive it becomes. I feel like I had a brain fart when I wrote this. Now I don't even know how it will end.
The next story will be about the power struggles in Kangxi's harem. Palace intrigue suits me best. I'll tentatively name Consort Ping, of the Hesheli clan, and mention that everyone involved is a villain.
