227 Flowers in the Rain
Li Wei and Luo Da finished their dinner in high spirits, but then Luo Da remembered something serious: "Did you come out by yourself? Does your mother know you came here?"
Luo Da raised his head, looking at the car roof, and remained silent. He had initially felt happy to see Luo Da, but now, with reality on his mind, he was no longer in the mood for happiness.
Luo Da thought for a moment: "How about... we call home first?" His mother would probably be so angry that she'd want to beat him to death if she found out that Li Wei had come to see him, and he'd never be able to go to her house again.
Li Wei remained silent and turned her head to look out the window.
Luo Da hesitated for a moment: "Okay, I'll make a call. Do you have class tomorrow?" He would call his third senior brother and the others, or he would lie.
Li Wei pointed to the extremely tall building outside the car window. Under the dim yellow lights of the evening, the words "Ilsa International Hotel" could be seen in the distance: "I don't have class, so I'll stay there. I'll stay in the tallest and most expensive room."
"It's a waste not to spend money," Li Wei decided. She was going to splurge a little. "We're already out here, let my mom and the others worry about it, humph!"
The atmosphere in the car became somewhat silent for a moment. Luo Da reached out to touch Li Wei's head, but Li Wei slapped his hand away, saying, "I'm not a child. Why are you touching my head? Don't look down on me because I feel sorry for you."
Luo Da: "I don't think you're pitiful, I just think you're quite cute."
"Come on, I know what I look like. I don't need your sweet talk. You'd be better off just saying I'm pretty." The atmosphere became a little stiff. They had both been quite happy when others were around, but suddenly being alone together made Li Wei feel incredibly frustrated and annoyed. It was inexplicable. She even reached out to grab Li Wei's hand, but Li Wei dodged her, coldly saying, "Hurry up and drive. I need to get to a hotel. I have to go back tomorrow. Hurry up." It was no different from talking to a taxi driver; she'd even lost all her politeness and courtesy.
Luo Da awkwardly withdrew his hand, stared at Li Wei, who sat there like a statue, for a long time, and then, helplessly, started the engine and stepped on the gas. He drove towards the hotel that Li Wei had personally selected.
This area is one of the most prosperous districts in the provincial capital, with towering buildings everywhere. The shopping mall that Li Wei and Luo Da went to is also the largest in this famous area, with a constant stream of customers every day.
Li Wei goes wherever there's excitement. She goes to the tallest, most crowded buildings. Luo Da and the others clearly knew where to go because they had the most items; otherwise, they wouldn't have run into her.
Li Wei saw that hotel. It was one of the most famous star-rated hotels in the area, and in terms of height, it was probably one of the tallest in the entire provincial capital.
Luo Da parked the car in the building's underground parking lot and accompanied Li Wei to check in. He didn't know what to say. Li Wei seemed a bit stubborn and seemed to have a problem with him. He didn't know if she was happy or not; perhaps she was thinking about what happened during the summer vacation. Was she unhappy?
You can't still be angry after all this time, can you?
Luo Da was a bit confused. Seeing Li Wei standing frozen at the service counter, turning to look at him strangely, he quickly came to his senses and asked, "What's wrong? Didn't you bring any money?"
Li Wei shook her head, her voice much softer: "I didn't bring any identification." She hadn't expected to stay here either, so she looked at Luo Daxi, who couldn't possibly have any identification or anything like that on him. After thinking for a moment, she said, "How about... I find you a place to stay at our school?" Although it would take some effort, it wasn't impossible.
Li Wei shook her head: "Go back and get my documents right away. I'm not staying in the dorms." Firstly, the dorms at the university are indeed not very comfortable, and secondly, and more importantly, they don't fit her ideal of spending money.
So Luo Da drove Li Wei back to school to retrieve his student ID. No one was in the dorm; he figured Zou Yulong had gone to the teachers' college again. Luo Da took his ID from the bedside table, grabbed all his living expenses, and went downstairs. Passing the gatehouse, he seemed lost in thought, quickly went in, called his third senior brother, gave him a few instructions, and then came out.
He figured that the place Li Wei was staying in wouldn't be cheap, and he didn't know if he had enough money. If not, he could go to the bank to withdraw the money tomorrow during the day. As long as you have legal documents, the hotel can register you, and you don't need to worry about who you are staying at. Just go through the formalities. Anyway, they make money.
Li Wei and Luo Da were both quite easy to deal with, as they were both empty-handed. Li Wei didn't even bring a bag, which made the waiter leading the way wonder to himself, "Which rich family's child is out having an affair now?"
This top-floor room costs a fortune for a one-night stand; it's enough for a year's salary.
As soon as Li Wei entered the room, she dismissed the waiter. Looking around, she found the environment quite nice: a large master bedroom with a bed twice the size of her bed at home, a slightly smaller bedroom, a living room, a luxurious bathroom, and thick carpets on the floor. The room was brightly colored, simple yet luxurious, and looked very comfortable.
Li Wei nodded as she walked. No wonder it was so expensive; you get what you pay for. She thought about telling Luo Da not to leave and to sleep in the small room, while she, of course, had to sleep in the big one.
But suddenly she realized something was wrong. Luo Da was standing quietly behind her, so close that she could hear his breathing. It was too quiet, unusually quiet. His nostrils were flaring, and his breathing was more rapid than usual.
Li Wei was very familiar with that expression, but she was still furious and had no mood for arguing with him.
Reaching out to push Luo Da, who was getting closer and closer, she said, "That's your room. Why don't you go back to your school..."
Her hand was grasped by Luo Da's large hand, and they were pulled close together. Luo Da felt a burning sensation in his heart, a burning ache that had been there since he first saw Li Wei. Li Wei, however, didn't reciprocate, struggling to stay still: "Hey. We still have a lot to talk about, don't..."
Luo Dadi's lips descended, accurately capturing Li Wei's chattering, rosy lips. Like the two poles of a magnet, they were tightly drawn together, lingering and passionate...
Li Wei felt a fire burning inside her, wanting to vent but her mouth was sealed shut, with nowhere to release it. She felt suffocated and wanted to bite off Luo Da's tongue, but that was obviously unrealistic. She had always been far inferior to Luo Da in terms of physical strength, so there was no hope of competing with him.
But she was furious and, disregarding everything else, began to suck on Luo Dadi's tongue fiercely and desperately. Did she think her tongue wasn't strong enough?!
As if encouraged, Luo Da hugged Li Wei's waist even tighter, lingering and lingering on her lips and tongue...
Li Wei felt like she was in a battle, charging into battle with all her might, almost to the point of exhaustion. Unfortunately, the enemy was too stubborn; she fought for ages, but they remained unmoved, their fortress sturdy, and seemingly calmly beginning to counterattack and engulf her…
The only sound echoing in her ears was the thunderous drumbeat, boom boom... boom boom boom... rhythmically striking, as if sounding the horn for the enemy's counterattack. She herself, meanwhile, was helplessly retreating step by step...
But she was unwilling to accept it, truly unwilling. She refused to believe she couldn't win; she'd rather die with him. Why did she back down, and then always think of her in every way? She didn't owe him anything!
If you bite me, I'll bite you back. If you touch my face, I'll pull your ears and head. If you put your hand inside my clothes, I'll put my hand inside my clothes and scratch you. If you take off my clothes, I'll take off my clothes too...
Li Wei only regained a little consciousness after Luo Dadi's mouth left her lips and tongue. She realized something was wrong. How did she end up on the bed? Where were her clothes?
The moment she moved, a strong body radiating heat pressed down on her, and her mouth was sealed shut again.
Li Wei instinctively felt that something was wrong, that things had gone off track. She felt hot and suffocated. The drumbeats she had just heard started again, this time very close, right next to her ear and above her body. It was the sound vibrating from the chest cavity of the person on top of her, powerful and strong, as if a thousand horses were galloping, about to engulf her.
Li Wei instinctively felt danger, an unprecedented danger. She had never experienced anything like it before; it felt as if she were being sucked away. Yet, a sliver of clarity and reason kept reminding her to stop, to stop…
That last shred of reason was like ice, while my whole body and mind felt like they were on fire, tormented by the interplay of ice and fire.
Li Wei felt like she had caught a bad cold again, feverish and delirious, with a faint hope that it would cool down, cool down, be more comfortable, be more comfortable, and instinctively looking for a comfortable position and temperature.
All the torment and anticipation awoke in a sharp, intense pain, like water dissipating and sparks flying.
Li Wei gasped, frozen in place, staring at the man before her, sweat dripping from his forehead—a man who was both strange and familiar. Yes, a man. Now, he no longer felt like the boy who could never truly hurt her.
He was hurting her, and she felt like she might die at any moment.
This was something she could never have understood from all her life experiences; it was incredibly painful, excruciating.
Li Wei gasped for breath as she pushed Luo Da, yelling, "You...get up...get up...sss—" Was she going to die here today? She had to kill this guy first!
Luo Da tried his best to lower his head and kiss away the tears in Li Wei's eyes and the sweat on her head. He dared not speak, his muscles tense to the point of pain, afraid that if he spoke, he would not be able to help but move.
What worried him most was that if he made a move, Li Wei might break like a delicate flower in a downpour; she looked so fragile, so pure and beautiful.
He wanted to be close to the flower, the flower that made him feel warm and happy, but it seemed that the flower didn't really like him right now. He was a little lost, and following his instincts, he gently and tenderly comforted the delicate flower, hoping that it would also feel the warmth and happiness and stay with him...
Li Wei felt neither warmth nor happiness. She felt as if she were nailed to a cross, and any movement would cause pain and discharge, leaving her feeling helpless.
She had never suffered such injustice in either of her lives. She was an ordinary woman who had never experienced great pain, had never had any major surgeries or suffered any major injuries in either of her lives. At most, she was scared half to death by an intramuscular injection. This was the most painful thing she could remember.
Now, the person who used to cherish her is now truly and deeply hurting her, making her feel both unfamiliar and terrified. She feels like she's going to die, and that she might be pierced through if she makes a single movement.
Why? Everyone else who went into the bridal chamber came out perfectly fine, jumping around happily. Were they all lying? Did they not do anything at all? Or is she just not suited for marriage? Wasn't it said that she would only feel pain for a short while?
Li Wei felt like she was going crazy. So many common sense concepts were suddenly overturned. Was the adult world all lies? Had she wasted all this time of her life?
Even in her dying moments, she was determined to fight this guy to the death, otherwise her death would have been in vain!
I felt a slight tingling sensation on my face as Luo Da continued to kiss me gently. My body seemed to be less painful, and my shoulders were being soothed, making me feel more comfortable.
Li Wei took a deep breath, hardened her resolve, and suddenly bit Luo Da's chin. Ignoring everything else, she raised her arms and legs and began punching and kicking him; she wanted to beat him to death…
Her rage ignited the air almost instantly, making the entire room scorching hot. Luo Da was the first to be affected; his brain practically exploded into flames, burning into a raging inferno. All he wanted was to dance with flowers in this sea of fire, dancing all the way to the heavens…
It transforms into a light, floating cloud, and then falls.
