Every world is a new journey of rebirth.
Hou Wenjie is an ordinary person who, in his daily life, works hard at studying and playing basketball, mastering excellent two-handed dribbling and b...
Endless silence enveloped this netherworld! Terrifying radiance reflected and flowed, and the void, like a thin sheet of paper, was torn into nothingness with overwhelming force.
As the mist dissipated, the hellish phantom behind Cao Baotian shattered, the moon became dim and lifeless, and his monstrous form fell into the underworld.
The chaotic blue light emitted by the giant fish was also extinguished, its five-colored tentacles dimmed considerably, and it could no longer maintain its bird-like form, transforming back into a giant fish.
The countless eyes on the giant fish reappeared, and billions of gazes transformed into a halo of light, within which chants of sacred sounds resounded!
Namo Amitabha Buddha! Namo Amitabha Buddha!
For a moment, the chanting of Buddhist hymns and Zen prayers seemed to descend upon a Pure Land.
With immeasurable light and immeasurable life, it gazes upon the vastness of heaven and earth, seemingly seeking to enlighten all the foolish and ignorant in the world.
Hou Wenjie's mind was illuminated by the light of his true nature, and he was unmoved by the chanting of the Brahma. Even if celestial maidens scattered flowers and golden lotuses sprang from the ground, what did it have to do with him?
So-called Sanskrit chanting is nothing more than a method of practicing the original vow. Those with coarse roots are led astray by it, but how could those who are empty of inherent existence be deluded!
At that moment, Hou Wenjie murmured, "Suppress!"
Within the sea of consciousness, the Avici Hell God Stele, which had been floating and sinking, suddenly appeared in this Netherworld Yellow Springs.
Without any earth-shattering momentum, the Avici Prison Suppressing Divine Stele pierced through the void in an instant and pressed down on the giant fish.
Facing the imposing ancient stele, the giant fish stretched out countless scarlet tentacles, attempting to shatter the stele!
But then something terrifying happened: the ancient, unadorned stone tablet shattered the crimson tentacles that were coiling around it!
Before the big fish could react, it suddenly slammed down, like a meteor falling from the sky, smashing the big fish hard and sending it crashing into the underworld!
The Avici Prison God Stele firmly suppressed the giant fish, and no matter how much it struggled, it could not break free.
Then, everything returned to the sea of consciousness.
The light of sexual energy shone down, and the Avici Hell God Stele suppressed the giant fish, making it difficult for it to move.
A towering vortex swirled within his sea of consciousness, like a millstone that grinds away all life. The giant fish was caught in the vortex, its monstrous body being constantly crushed!
Bathed in the light, Hou Wenjie naturally received fragments of the big fish's memories, as well as some mysterious concepts.
This fish is the very creature that the legendary Kun transformed into!
One of its strange abilities is to use the Nine Aperture Gu to inflict strange effects on a person.
Hou Wenjie, who had only heard of the Nine Gu before, now understands all the names and information about the Nine Aperture Gu.
They are respectively Fu Gu, Long Gu, Bai Gu, Rou Gu, Chi Gu, Ge Gu, Fei Gu, Wei Gu, and Dung Gu!
Previously, he was afflicted with the Crimson Gu, Qian Jiaming with the Dragon Gu, and Liu Jie, who devoured flesh and blood, was afflicted with the Flesh Gu.
Another ability of this monster is that it can unleash the legendary Five-Colored Light, and the Five-Colored Light can even generate Chaotic Blue Light, which is almost close to the Blue-White Light of Primordial Qi. This ability can be described as extremely amazing!
Hou Wenjie sorted through the fragments of information surging in his mind, and soon he learned the identity of this Kun. It was once the mount of Amitabha Buddha in the Western Paradise!
It differs slightly from what is told in the book "Investiture of the Gods".
From those fragments of memory, Hou Wenjie learned that in the history of this world, Buddhism is divided into three Buddhas of different times!
In terms of spatial division, it is the Three Buddhas of the Horizontal Era.
They are respectively Bhaisajyaguru Buddha of the Eastern Pure Land of Lapis Lazuli, Shakyamuni Buddha of the Central Pure Land of Saha, and Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss!
Dividing it by time, it is the Three Buddhas of the Three Worlds.
They are respectively Dipankara Buddha of the past, Shakyamuni Buddha of the present, and Maitreya Buddha of the future!
Among those memories, the most important one is that the Buddha has already passed away!
Hou Wenjie was not surprised by this, as Buddhism only cultivates the mind, not the body.
Therefore, there is the saying that one's lifespan is like a candle, and one's spiritual light is like fire. When it burns out, it becomes a relic.
When a high-ranking Buddhist monk passes away, he is bound by the light of his true nature and goes to the Pure Land.
While Buddhist practitioners cultivate their inner light and can be as one with heaven and earth, they also become one with heaven and earth!
Life's end; how can a single thought last forever? How can it withstand the erosion of time?
Even if he receives offerings from countless people and is protected by a single thought, is he still the same person?
Taoists cultivate life force, which is Qi! However, many Taoists cultivate acquired spiritual energy, using it to form a Yin spirit, thus cultivating their acquired destiny. From then on, it is difficult for the Yin spirit to attain sainthood for countless eons.
An ancient saying goes: a true teaching can be conveyed in a single sentence, while a false teaching can fill countless volumes.
Throughout the ages, the path to immortality and ultimate freedom has been achieved through the simultaneous cultivation of both body and spirit! Body is Yang, spirit is Yin; the unity of Yin and Yang is the mother, the Golden Elixir! This is the Great Dao of the Golden Elixir!
Thinking of this, Hou Wenjie felt even more at ease.
Even the ancient sages and Buddhas had their limitations. Throughout history, those who have cultivated Buddhism and Taoism have all used the false to cultivate the true, acting out of faith. It is difficult to say whether they are superior or inferior, or whether they are better or worse!
Now that Hou Wenjie has attained the Great Dao Golden Elixir, he should be able to dispel all strange phenomena and surpass the ancient sages.
His mind returned to reality, and Qian Jiaming, whom he had previously sent out of the Netherworld, stood on this land.
As someone who was nobody, his heart was already filled with turmoil.
In his view, Hou Wenjie's actions had long since transcended the realm of humanity!
Later, the giant fish that humans could not defeat was so easily suppressed by Hou Wenjie.
Is there anything in this world that he can't do?
At this moment, he only had reverence for Hou Wenjie.
At this moment, Hou Wenjie was watching the butterfly that had already landed on the flower.
Between the two wings of the butterfly, a doorway opened in the void.
An ancient bronze gate, bearing the marks of time.
There were many characters engraved on the bronze door, and Hou Wenjie stared at them intently.
Heaven and earth possess great beauty but do not speak of it; the four seasons have clear laws but do not discuss them; all things have inherent principles but do not explain them.
A sage is one who understands the beauty of heaven and earth and comprehends the principles of all things.
Therefore, the perfect man does nothing, and the great sage does not act; this is what is meant by observing the universe.
Now, those divine beings are supremely refined, and they are subject to all transformations. Things have already died and come back to life, and their origins are unknown.
…
This is none other than a copy of the *Zhuangzi*!
Butterfly! The Zhuangzi!
Hou Wenjie felt a surge of emotion; yet another mythical figure had come into reality.
Could this place be related to the ancient sage who is revered in Taoism as Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun?
The ancient bronze gate slowly opened, and Hou Wenjie, without hesitation, put his hand on Qian Jiaming's shoulder, used the Shrinking Earth Technique, and stepped into the ancient gate.
What came into view was a Buddhist hall, which enshrined only one Buddha, the future Maitreya Buddha.
How could the Taoist Celestial Venerable be related to the Future Buddha of Buddhism?
This thought naturally arose in Hou Wenjie's mind.
Then he saw people.
Hou Wenjie glanced at them and counted 23 people in total.
Apart from one monk dressed in white robes, the remaining number of people exactly matched the number of surviving crew members.
Hou Wenjie glanced at Qian Jiaming beside him and said, "Is it them?"
Qian Jiaming glanced around and nodded: "They're all here, not one missing."
The others in the Buddhist hall seemed neither to hear nor see their arrival.
Only the white-robed monk clasped his hands together in prayer towards Hou Wenjie and said, "Amitabha! Why has the benefactor suppressed my Buddhist King without cause?"
