Chapter 98: Fight, Call the Police

Someone immediately came out to act as a peacemaker and persuaded Wang Chunhua to calm down.

This kind of thing is not a big deal in the community. Usually neighbors will come to mediate and not make a big deal out of it. When Zhang's mother saw Wang Chunhua and Aunt Chen fighting, she wanted to go over to help. Zhang Wanwan quickly grabbed her, took out her cell phone and dialed 110.

"Hello, hello, I want to call the police. There's a crazy woman here who wants to beat up my mother."

Zhang Wanwan had just hung up the phone when the woman who was trying to stop the fight started yelling, "Stop fighting, stop fighting, I've called the police!"

Wang Chunhua regained some of her sanity when she heard the words "call the police". She stopped struggling to break free from the people pulling her, but just kept cursing and refused to admit defeat.

Aunt Chen was helped aside. Mother Zhang hurried over to take a look and saw several scratches on her face. She was so angry that her face turned red.

Wang Chunhua, on the other side, had a desperate attitude. She looked at Zhang's mother provocatively and said, "What are you looking at? You stinky bitch!"

Zhang Wanwan came over with a cold face and grabbed Zhang's mother. It was simply beneath her dignity to argue with such a shrew.

Soon two policemen came over on motorcycles and asked, "Who called the police?"

"It was me." Zhang Wanwan walked out calmly, pointing at Wang Chunhua and said, "Mr. Policeman, this bitch wanted to beat my mother. Director Chen from the community committee stepped forward to stop her. I didn't expect that she would even beat Director Chen. You can see there are still scratches on Director Chen's body!"

Zhang Wanwan deliberately pointed out Aunt Chen's identity in order to make the police side with them. Generally, the beating of public officials can be a big or small matter. Although it is common for neighbors to fight because of conflicts, the situation would be different if even the director who tried to stop the fight was beaten.

Two policemen came to take Aunt Chen's statement. Aunt Chen was very angry and didn't say anything about making a big deal out of a small matter. However, this made people in the community worried. They originally thought that the fight was just caused by a quarrel and was not a big deal, but they didn't expect the police to take it so seriously!

After taking Aunt Chen's statement, the police went on to question those people who were trying to stop the fight.

Aunt Chen didn't want to continue arguing with Wang Chunhua. She turned her head and looked at Zhang Wanwan and Zhang Baiyan beside Zhang's mother, and put on a loving smile, "Oh! Meilan, you have raised your little girl well! I heard that your little girl was the top scorer in the high school entrance examination last year, which is amazing! How is her academic performance now?"
