After leaving the launch site, Zhao Ye went to the regional jet manufacturing plant of Galaxy Technology Company.

Galaxy Technologies has named its regional jet "Galaxy Azure Phoenix." The Azure Phoenix is ​​an ancient Chinese mythical bird, a type of phoenix. Legend has it that they reside on the western Kunlun Mountains, often accompanying the Queen Mother of the West. They are both her mount and her messenger, conveying messages to the heavens on her behalf.

"Chairman Zhao, the 'Galaxy·Azure Phoenix' manufacturing plant is located in Xi'an, the largest aircraft production base in China, covering an area of ​​400,000 square meters and capable of accommodating 911 basketball courts!"

Chu Peng, CEO of Galaxy Technology, accompanied Zhao Ye on a tour of the factory, explaining things to him as he went.

"The main structure consists of six interconnected workshops, each with a gate larger than half a football field. The smallest gate is 25 meters wide and 91 meters high. As the aircraft is being assembled, it gradually moves towards the gate on the production line, from one position to the next. The number of parts on the aircraft increases significantly as it moves from one position to the next. When the aircraft reaches the gate, it is basically completed. Once the appointed time arrives, the gate opens, and the aircraft flies out."

Once final assembly is complete, the aircraft will be moved to a paint shop hangar to be painted with the logos of different airlines.

"In addition, the 'Galaxy·Azure Phoenix' aircraft production base has three paint hangars. Besides the factory buildings and warehouses, the factory area also includes nine office buildings and two buildings that provide cabin interior panels and luggage compartments for all 'Galaxy·Azure Phoenix' aircraft."

"This factory is like a small city, with its own fire department, security force, medical clinic, substation, sewage treatment, and canteen."

Upon hearing this, Zhao Ye nodded secretly, then asked, "I've heard that Boeing can produce one aircraft every nine days, an extremely high efficiency. Can our 'Galaxy Azure Phoenix' factory achieve that?"

Chu Peng said, "Our factory was modeled after Boeing's Gigafactory. I believe that with the optimization of factory management and the workers' skills becoming more proficient, our factory's production efficiency will be greatly improved. Producing one aircraft every nine days is not impossible!"

Chinese workers are hardworking and resilient; many employees are willing to work overtime as long as the company pays them.

That might not be the case for American employees.

Furthermore, the CNC machine tools and intelligent robots developed by Tiangong Technology Company are becoming increasingly advanced, and the production efficiency of the "Galaxy·Qingluan" factory will become higher and higher, surpassing Boeing in the near future.

Chu Peng is very confident about this.

The achievements of Tiangong Technology in recent years are evident to all. It has not only seized the global market share in low-to-mid-range CNC machine tools, but has also made breakthroughs in high-end CNC machine tools. Although it is not the most advanced yet, Tiangong Technology has at least developed high-end CNC machine tools, breaking the foreign monopoly. Moreover, its core components such as CNC, drive, transmission, and tool magazine are only slightly behind those of top international manufacturers, and it has basically achieved domestic production.

As the tour continued, Zhao Ye saw many robotic arms and some high-end CNC machine tools in the "Galaxy·Qingluan" factory workshop. The entire production process was highly automated. In the future, it may be possible to realize an unmanned factory where all positions can be replaced by intelligent industrial robots.
