Wang Qian had just finished washing up when there was a knock on the living room door.

Immediately afterwards, a somewhat familiar voice came from outside, "Wang Qian, I heard you're back. Are you home?"

Xu Qingqing?

Wang Qian recognized the voice immediately.

Sure enough, when the door was opened, a tall, slender woman stood outside, wearing a women's suit, with her hair tied in a ponytail, looking capable and dashing.

She is Xu Qingqing, the chairperson of Sky Pavilion Construction Co., Ltd.

"You really came back!"

Upon seeing Wang Qian, Xu Qingqing's face lit up with excitement.

"Uh... I was just about to come look for you." Wang Qian chuckled awkwardly. "How did you know I was back?"

“I rented a house from a family nearby, and that lady happens to work for you. I heard her talking about it last night after she got off work.”

"I see..."

Wang Qian gestured for them to come in, "Come in and let's talk!"

"good!"

Xu Qingqing didn't stand on ceremony and sat down on the sofa in the living room after entering the house.

Lin Xiaoyu had also gotten up early and hurriedly greeted her with a smile, "Qingqing's here. You probably haven't had breakfast yet, have you?"

"I... I haven't eaten yet." Xu Qingqing smiled sheepishly.

"Then I'll go cook some noodles, and we'll eat together later."

As she spoke, Lin Xiaoyu prepared to walk towards the kitchen.

Wang Qian preemptively said, "You keep Chairman Xu company for a chat, I'll go cook some noodles."

"Never mind, you're not familiar with the kitchen, I'll cook. You can talk to Qingqing about the factory while you're at it."

Before Wang Qian could say anything more, Lin Xiaoyu had already pushed him over and gone into the kitchen on her own.

Wang Qian didn't force her and sat down opposite Xu Qingqing, but his gaze never left the kitchen, his eyes full of tenderness.

"You have a very virtuous wife."

Xu Qingqing's voice came over.

Wang Qian looked away and did not deny it, saying, "Being able to marry her is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to me."

In the kitchen.

A faint smile appeared on Lin Xiaoyu's lips; she felt incredibly warm inside.

This was the first time Wang Qian had praised her in front of others, saying that marrying her was the greatest luck of his life.

This wasn't the first time she'd heard such words from Wang Qian, but she always felt that they were just sweet talk from him to deceive her.

But this time, she believed it.

If Wang Qian didn't truly believe this, he wouldn't have said such a thing in front of another woman.

In the living room.

Xu Qingqing smiled gently and immediately got to the point, "Have you been very busy with business lately?"

"It's alright!"

Wang Qian gave a vague reply, then asked, "Have all your company's team members gone back?"

"Yes, they've all gone back!"

Xu Qingqing nodded. "The factory has been built, and everything that needed to be done has been done. If we don't go back, we'll just be idling here."

Then, she stared intently at Wang Qian and asked, "You said before that once I built the factory for you, you would give me a big project. Does that still stand?"

"You think I'm just fooling you?" Wang Qian retorted.

"Very good!"

Xu Qingqing was incredibly excited and eagerly asked, "What kind of project is it?"

"Don't rush, take it slow!"

Wang Qian waved his hand, "Let's finish breakfast first, then we'll go inspect the factory."

Xu Qingqing's expression stiffened, and she said sullenly, "That's right. If the factory we build for you can't even pass the inspection, then our company won't get any bigger projects, right?"

Wang Qian did not deny this.

He did want to help Xu Qingqing's company, but if she herself was not capable, there was nothing he could do.

Soon, Lin Xiaoyu had cooked the noodles.

The aroma alone is enough to whet one's appetite.

"Wang Qian, you were right about one thing just now!"

After taking a bite of the noodles Lin Xiaoyu cooked, Xu Qingqing immediately praised them highly, "Xiaoyu is not only virtuous, but her noodles are also so delicious. You are truly blessed to have married such a good wife."

"Qingqing, hurry up and eat your noodles!"

Lin Xiaoyu blushed with embarrassment, but she couldn't hide the happy smile on her lips.

Wang Qian's parents got up early and went to the market; all they had to do was cook for themselves.

As for their son, Wang Niangui, he is less than a year old and is currently very sleepy. They have been up for a long time, but there has been no sound of crying from the bedroom.

But just as they finished eating, Wang Niangui's crying finally broke out.

"He's awake. I'll go feed him, and then I'll clean up the dishes later."

Lin Xiaoyu put down the bowl and prepared to rush into the bedroom.

But as soon as he stood up, Wang Qian grabbed him, saying, "Let me go. You haven't finished your noodles yet. You can continue eating."

With that, he rushed into the bedroom.

Sure enough, Wang Niangui, who was sleeping in the cradle, had woken up at some point and was crying loudly.

However, upon seeing Wang Qian enter, she immediately stopped crying, blinked her bright eyes, and revealed an incredibly cute smile, even laughing out loud.
