Yang Yajing felt her life was utterly worthless—single at 36; meager salary absolutely insufficient to cover her mother's medical expenses.
Her best friend not only stole the man she...
In order to please Wang Xiufen, Wang Xiuzhen dared not be late or put on airs, and unusually arrived at the teahouse more than ten minutes early.
The teahouse's reception area is right next to the bar, opposite the main dining area. It wasn't the weekend, and it was afternoon, so there were only a dozen or so people scattered around the main dining area.
Perhaps unaware of the extent of the situation's escalation, Wang Xiuzhen and Jiang Xuanxuan did not disguise themselves, but instead stood at the front desk dressed in an elegant manner, waiting for someone to lead them into the private room.
Although no one recognized Wang Xiuzhen, Jiang Xuanxuan was quickly recognized.
The customers in the teahouse began to whisper among themselves, gossiping amongst themselves.
Apart from a young woman with a worried expression and an old woman opposite her.
This is a mother and daughter. The daughter was born prematurely and had no breast milk, which caused her son to be affected by toxic milk powder, resulting in him becoming a "big-headed baby" and recently dying.
She was depressed and felt it was all her fault. To prevent her from taking her own life, her mother took her out for tea to comfort her.
But less than half an hour after I sat down, I saw Jiang Xuanxuan appear in the store.
The coincidence is that the girl's milk powder was all bought from the Jiang family's supermarket, which is why the mother and daughter paid close attention to the Jiang family's news.
When her mother comforted her, she told her it wasn't her fault and not to blame herself. She suggested blaming those unscrupulous businessmen, and perhaps her grandson wasn't meant to be; God had simply taken him away!
To prove she was telling the truth, the elderly mother gathered a lot of gossip about the Jiang family and told her daughter that such a family and such unscrupulous merchants had no conscience whatsoever.
It was at this moment that the daughter of the unscrupulous merchant she had mentioned actually appeared in front of her.
With nowhere to vent her grief and resentment, and filled with sorrow at the loss of her beloved son, coupled with depression and emotional instability, the girl's eyes suddenly blazed with hatred when she saw Jiang Xuanxuan.
She jumped up and strode towards Jiang Xuanxuan, shouting as she went, "Jiang Xuanxuan! You heartless businesswomen! You owe me my son's life!"
Jiang Xuanxuan was taken aback when she was suddenly called by name and looked at the person who came.
She saw a young woman, without makeup, with a haggard face and dark circles under her eyes, suddenly grab her and shake her violently, pulling on her arms.
"Give me back my son! Give me back my son! How can the Jiang family be so heartless! How can they be so heartless! Give me back my son!" The woman cried emotionally, her eyes blurred with tears.
The woman's mother knew her daughter needed to vent, so she didn't stop her. She just moved closer and glared angrily at Jiang Xuanxuan.
Jiang Xuanxuan was terrified and struggled to break free from her grip: "Let me go! Let me go! I don't know your son!"
"You crazy woman! Let go of my daughter!" Wang Xiuzhen shouted angrily, and slammed her handbag down on the woman's arm.
"Ah!" the woman screamed in pain, but clung tightly to Jiang Xuanxuan and wouldn't let go.
This little pain is nothing compared to the grief of losing her son.
"The heartless boss lady of the Jiang family?" Her mother quickly calculated and began to chime in, "The Jiang family woman is beating people! She killed my grandson, and now she wants to beat my daughter to death! There's no justice! Everyone, be the judge!"
The old woman's shout drew everyone's attention to the farce.
The waiter at the teahouse tried to break up the fight, but as soon as he touched Wang Xiuzhen, he was slapped across the face and covered his lips, too afraid to go any further.
"Hey! Why are you hitting even a stranger without asking any questions? The Jiang family woman is such a shrew! Her manners are terrible!" A young man in a delivery uniform stood up to defend her.
"Get out of my way! Who do you think you are? A deliveryman with such a gossipy mouth?" Wang Xiuzhen's contemptuous tone was obvious as soon as she saw that he was a deliveryman.
"What's wrong with delivering packages? Do you think you can be so low-class just because you have a few stinking coins?" The people here aren't rich or powerful, and they look down on Wang Xiuzhen's attitude.
"So what if I'm rich? So what if I hit people? If you're not capable, don't cause trouble. Stay out of the way! Say another word? Say another word and I'll hit you too!" Wang Xiuzhen had absolutely no self-awareness or shame.
Delivery drivers are now required to take photos to prove that the goods have been delivered, and the company provides them with mobile phones that can take pictures. At this moment, he simply took out his phone and started taking pictures of the scene.
When Wang Xiuzhen saw him do this, she swung her backpack at the deliveryman, yelling, "What are you filming for! I told you not to film! I told you not to film!"
The deliveryman covered his head and backed away, but the onlookers were not to be outdone; those with cameras took them out and continued to film this ugly scene.
The farce alarmed the teahouse's lobby manager, who, fearing something might happen, immediately dialed 110 to report it to the police.
As it turned out, her decision to call the police was extremely wise. No sooner had she hung up than she saw the crowd in the lobby begin to fight.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Stop fighting! Stop fighting! This is a public place, please be civilized and courteous!" the manager shouted, but no one listened.
The young woman wouldn't let go of Jiang Xuanxuan, so Wang Xiuzhen pushed aside the onlookers and slapped the woman across the face.
"Ah!" the woman screamed again, then, "I'll fight you to the death! I don't want to live anymore!"
As she spoke, she grabbed a knife from the bar and stabbed it at Jiang Xuanxuan.
The knife wasn't very sharp, but her haphazard slashing and stabbing was enough to give someone a run for their money.
When Wang Xiuzhen saw her beloved daughter being slashed with a knife, she flew into a rage. She took out a nail file from her bag and stabbed it directly into the young woman's shoulder.
