Ye Feixu looked utterly astonished. "How can you drive without a driver's license?"

Su Yan thought for a moment, "Maybe I'm just smarter? I can learn it after just one look, and I can drive it after just one try?"

Jiang Jingxing's heart was in his throat. "When did you start driving by yourself? Was anyone with you?"

These days, driving without a license isn't strictly enforced; as long as you don't get caught, there's no problem.

His strong reaction was mainly due to his concern for Su Yan's safety.

"I learned it at school," Su Yan lied without batting an eye. "You don't need to be so nervous. I'll take the driving test when I get to school."

Jiang Jingxing originally wanted to let her drive the Santana in the garage, so that she wouldn't have to squeeze onto public transportation to go anywhere in Beijing.

That thought vanished when she said she hadn't gotten her driver's license.

Forget it, I'll just take the bus. At least the driver is licensed.

"Why are you asking me this question?" she asked, puzzled.

"Just asking. Be careful on your way back," Jiang Jingxing said calmly.

"All right."

Ye Feixu frowned. "You're not coming tonight?"

Su Yan shook her head. "I have something to do tonight, so you two can have the cafeteria deliver your dinner."

Where to?

Who did you go out with?

The question that came out of Ye Feixu's mouth was a question he was asked without thinking, and he was stunned after he finished speaking.

The next question was asked by Jiang Jingxing.

The two men exchanged a glance, then looked away.

Su Yan scratched her head. "I'm going out with a friend. Okay, that's all for now, I need to catch the bus, bye-bye."

After saying that, she ran away in a flash.

They weren't given a chance to reply at all.

Jiang Jingxing frowned.

He knew Su Yan well; if she really was going out with friends, she would have definitely mentioned her name just now.

If she didn't say, then it proves that the other person is not only not a friend, but very likely not even a close acquaintance.

After thinking for a moment, he picked up the phone and called Su Yu.

Ye Feixu glanced at his actions and continued eating dumplings and reading.

After the call connected, Su Yu joked, "Good brother, you finally remembered me? That's unbelievable."

"Ayan is going out with her friends tonight, did you know that?" Jiang Jingxing asked bluntly.

Su Yu snorted coldly, "I know, the person who asked her out is a young and talented man named Jing Mao. He's quite good-looking. I wonder if he's pursuing my sister."

After finishing dinner, Su Yan received a call from Jing Mao, then put on her coat and went out.

Li Juan followed her furtively.

I kept a distance from her because I was afraid she would find out.

He maintained his smile and gentlemanly opened the passenger door. "Miss Su, please get in the car. Be careful not to bump your head."

Su Yan immediately "drilled" in and sat down, smiling as she said, "You're such a nice person, just like the hotel staff at the entrance."

Jingmao: "..."

He suddenly broke down.

He walked back to the driver's seat and drove away.

"Ziming, could you help me bring Ayan back?"

Su Yan remained motionless as she looked at the steak in front of her.

Jingmao asked, puzzled, "Miss Su, don't you like steak?"

She suddenly looked up at the waiter and opened her mouth, "Do you have chopsticks? I'm from the countryside, I don't know how to use a knife and fork!"
