University student Qin Xiaoyu died with deep regrets, betrayed by a scumbag. Reborn, she finds herself in the body of a 25-year-old young widow with depression and two children, living in the 1980s...
"Our Jiang family is lucky to have married such a good daughter-in-law." Aunt smiled again, pursing her lips.
"Our Fang family is lucky; having this little fish is enough."
There was the sound of a car outside, and my third sister came to join in the fun.
"Didn't you say you don't celebrate the Spring Festival? I've never seen you celebrate it before, and you never come when I call you." Mrs. Fang was a little annoyed by the big guy hovering in front of her.
"Grandma, don't be biased. You all have families, but I don't. What's wrong with me coming here for the Spring Festival?" The third sister felt wronged as soon as she heard this.
"That's right, why can't Third Sister come? Come upstairs with me." Qin Xiaoyu hurriedly led Third Sister away. She was clumsy and a bit of a hindrance.
She called her third sister up because she had a private matter to discuss: she wanted to act as a matchmaker. Bald Qiang had been acting strangely lately, constantly asking her about her third sister.
It turns out that he took his clients to his third sister's hot spring resort a while ago, and somehow he became a little obsessed.
Although Bald Qiang is not as wealthy as his third sister and comes from an ordinary working-class family, he is quick-witted and is now the head of the purchasing department at Riyue Clothing, with plenty of funds at his disposal.
His share in this stock distribution is quite substantial; he earned it through his performance.
If this goes public, he'll be a small-time millionaire.
Third Sister actually had a pretty good impression of Bald Qiang, even though he was a few years younger than her.
"Sis, this is called 'younger man dominant,' it'll be popular in the future, it's nothing," Qin Xiaoyu advised. Her third sister grew up abroad and didn't care much about these things, agreeing to date for a while and see how it goes.
Qin Xiaoyu was satisfied but didn't dare tell Madam Fang right away. A Lei seemed quite pleased.
"I think there's potential. That Bald Qiang kid is pretty good."
Wang Yuping and her family arrived early as well. Her cousin-in-law was eager to see her grandson, and she wanted to support her.
When Wang Lei's handsome son arrived, Qin Xiaoyu and A Lei couldn't help but come down to see him. The child was so good-looking that it was hard not to take a second look; it felt like appreciating a work of art.
“This child is going to be a problem later.” Wang Yuping came out from the kitchen. “Today when we went to get him vaccinated, we almost caused chaos. Everyone was crowding around to see him, and no one was in line.”
"How can we be so good-looking?" Qin Xiaoyu leaned closer to examine us closely, unable to get enough of looking at us.
"Since you like him so much, I'll be your son-in-law," Wang Yuping said generously.
"No, this son-in-law is too young. My little sister is already eleven," Qin Xiaoyu said regretfully.
“Little sister, you’re eleven years old. Isn’t this one in your belly just right?” Wang Yuping pointed with her hand.
"Haha, this is perfect! Let's have a little beauty and have her marry our handsome little brother!" Qin Xiaoyu smiled, her eyes crinkling.
Who knows what fate brings people together? Maybe these two kids will become a couple someday.
Qi Si and Xiao Si's wife came later; their two children had been sent over to play long before.
Upon hearing Qi Si enter, Xiao Xin immediately rushed into his arms, and the two embraced and kissed as if they hadn't seen each other for years.
My daughter calls me "Daddy, Daddy," and it melts my heart. I wish I could give her all the treasures in the world.
"Brother, that's enough. I've never seen anyone act like this before." Qin Xiaoyu rolled her eyes at Qi Si.
"Why don't you talk about your Ah Lei? Why do you always talk about me?" Qi Si rolled his eyes at her.
Deng Jianyan deliberately brought the children a little later, because his three little devils were very destructive.
This was the first Spring Festival without a week or month, and he looked somewhat forlorn. Qin Xiaoyu noticed this and knew that the two were deeply in love. She had heard from Lisheng that they would talk on the phone for one or two hours at a time at night, without caring about the cost of overseas calls. They were certainly rich and carefree.
Lisheng had just finished discussing the plan with Qin Xiaoyu and was in the study making some additional comments when he heard his younger brothers' voices. He had no choice but to sigh and come out; he had to fulfill his responsibility as an older brother.
These three little guys are afraid of their older brother; they become much more obedient as soon as they see him.
Lisheng took the three little ones, along with Zhengxin and Xiaoxin, into the study downstairs and played Monopoly with them.
Qin Xiaoyu chuckled inwardly. Was this some kind of successor training? So this was how the family line continued—one generation leading the next.
"Alright, everyone's here." Zhou Xing's mother came out of the kitchen and said with a smile when she saw the room full of people.
"I hear a car!" Qin Xiaoyu walked to the window, lifted the curtain, and looked out. A taxi was parked at the door. She screamed, "Oh my god!"
The three people who came in looked travel-worn.
Zhou Yue had lost a lot of weight; she was now incredibly thin, and her demeanor had changed drastically. She threw her luggage on the floor as soon as she entered the room and lunged at Deng Jianyan with open arms.
Deng Jianyan was stunned for a moment before recognizing her. He rushed over and hugged his wife tightly, sobbing and almost crying.
The two of them, disregarding the fact that they were in public, hugged each other tightly and wouldn't let go.
Xiao Jin picked up the three identical little ones one by one and kissed them. They stared blankly at their older sister, then at their mother, looking a little confused.
Zhou Yue pushed Deng Jianyan away forcefully and attacked her three precious sons. The three little guys finally came to their senses and pounced on her one by one, almost knocking her over.
Miranda hugged Qin Xiaoyu and then walked up to A Lei.
Normally, Ale was very reserved when he met her, but this time, for some reason, he suddenly reached out and hugged Miranda.
Miranda's body stiffened, and Qin Xiaoyu couldn't help but worry. She knew how much courage A Lei had mustered.
Are felt it, and he slowly released his arm. Miranda raised her hand and actually stroked his cheek, her eyes reddening.
The three of them came back together for the Spring Festival without prior notice. According to her weekly schedule, she wouldn't be back for another month. Miranda and the others had only recently returned, and none of them expected her to come back so frequently.
