University student Qin Xiaoyu died with deep regrets, betrayed by a scumbag. Reborn, she finds herself in the body of a 25-year-old young widow with depression and two children, living in the 1980s...
She didn't know how much time had passed when she heard birds chirping. She gently lifted her eyelids; it was dawn.
But she didn't want to wake up; she was so sleepy, so sleepy, and the little devil in the blankets wouldn't let her go. She turned over, intending to continue sleeping.
Thump, thump, thump! The knocking sound was very assertive.
"Qin Xiaoyu! Get up quickly, you're going to be late!" The voice sounded familiar, but she couldn't quite place it.
Late? Where is she going? She doesn't have any plans.
Qin Xiaoyu sat up, puzzled.
"Ah!" she screamed and jumped to the ground. Where was she? Shouldn't she be in the bedroom, sleeping next to A Lei?
What the heck is this single bed? And the plush toys on it, the narrow window, and those tacky curtains...?
This is the house she rented in her previous life; she moved in right after graduating from university.
She picked up the digital watch on the table; it read 8:39 a.m. on May 22, 2019.
What the heck? Is this thirty years in the future?
Thump, thump, thump! There was another knocking on the door; this time, "smash it" would be a more apt description.
"What do you mean?" Qin Xiaoyu rushed to the door and opened it. The girl standing outside had messy hair, which was haphazardly clipped back with several clips. She had a face mask on and a toothbrush in her mouth.
"Hurry up, the interview is at ten o'clock, don't be late this time." The girl squeezed out a few words through gritted teeth.
"An interview?" Qin Xiaoyu panicked. She recognized the girl as her roommate, Mo Mo.
But wasn't she already dead in this life? Could she have been reborn?
A chill ran through her, Qin Xiaoyu's hands and feet turned icy cold, she held her breath and almost fainted.
Does that mean that her A Lei, her children, her relatives, and Sun and Moon Clothing no longer exist?
She rushed to the mirror, and the face there was familiar; it was the face she had used for twenty-five years in her previous life.
Her legs were so weak that she could no longer stand and sat down, holding onto the edge of the bed.
Everything is lost.
She returned to her previous life.
