It wasn't until noon that Ji Wanmei remembered, where was Lei Tingjun?

Where is he?

The wholesale market here is so huge that Ji Wanmei is a little worried that Lei Tingjun has gotten separated from them.

They spent the whole morning buying goods and haggling over prices. Luo Chunyan was also busy secretly learning from the stall owners. Both of them were exhausted.

Ji Wanmei glanced at the time and realized it was already 12:30.

"Chunyan, let's go out and get something to eat first," Ji Wanmei said.

Luo Chunyan was indeed hungry. The eggs she ate on the train that morning had long been digested, and the market was crowded and noisy, so they had to raise their voices to talk. She was also a little thirsty.

Before they knew it, the two of them had gone up to the fourth floor of the wholesale market. When they finally came downstairs, they were both covered in sweat.

Downstairs from the wholesale market, there's a fast food street catering specifically to out-of-town merchants who come to buy goods. It offers all sorts of snacks, all of good quality and inexpensive, and you can smell the delicious aroma from afar.

Luo Chunyan pointed happily in that direction and said, "There's food over there, let's go eat over there."

Ji Wanmei thought so too, so the two of them went to the snack street there and kept a close eye on Lei Tingjun from the roadside.

“Thunder Army?! What are you doing here again?” Luo Chunyan’s eyes widened.

Why does he always show up at mealtimes? That was Luo Chunyan's first thought.

Lei Tingjun supported himself on one leg, lazily crossing his other long leg. He stubbed out a cigarette butt he had just finished smoking on the ground, leaned against the wall, and ignored Luo Chunyan after hearing the sound.

He only looked at Ji Wanmei and saw that the black hair at her temples was slightly damp with sweat, her face was flushed, and her eyes shone with an undisguised good mood. She was also carrying a large black plastic bag in her hand, so he said, "Let me help you carry it."

Actually, Lei Tingjun saw Ji Wanmei and the others when they arrived in the morning, just as Luo Chunyan was looking at those "stepping pants" outside the wholesale stall.

Lei Tingjun watched as she, radiant with confidence, haggled with the stall owners, her gentle smile conveying neither arrogance nor servility, her poise and grace as she meticulously and rigorously selected the goods she desired.

Just watching Ji Wanmei from afar, Lei Tingjun felt extremely content.

Furthermore, Lei Tingjun discovered that Ji Wanmei actually had a very unique eye for selecting goods.

She specifically chose trendy items that weren't sold in Pingquan County. Leaving aside the things women used, take the poster and photo shop she went into last.

He saw that she had also picked out a Bruce Lee poster.

At 12:30, Ji Wanmei called Luo Chunyan downstairs.

Ji Wanmei and the others came down to eat, so they definitely had to come here.

So he came downstairs beforehand, found a restaurant, asked the chef to cook the dishes first, and then came to the door to pick up Ji Wanmei and the others.

Lei Tingjun took the things from her hand and said, "I've been standing not far behind you the whole time. I saw you were busy selecting goods, so I didn't want to bother you."

"So, how was the trip?"

Ji Wanmei smiled, raised her hand and saw that the bag she had been carrying had made her palms red from the pressure. Now that she had given it to Lei Tingjun, she immediately felt much lighter.

"We've had a great time. This time we brought back a lot of things that aren't available in other grocery stores in the county. I'm confident that when we get back, our store will be a huge success."

Lei Tingjun liked seeing her talk so eloquently; her face radiated an intellectual and wise glow that particularly attracted him.

"Yes, your judgment is definitely right."

Lei Tingjun saw a drink stand ahead and said, "Are you thirsty? I'll go buy you two bottles of water."

After buying the water, Lei Tingjun unscrewed the cap before handing it to Ji Wanmei, perhaps because he noticed the red mark on her palm.

Luo Chunyan saw Lei Tingjun helping Ji Wanmei carry things and unscrew bottle caps from behind, and couldn't help but curl her lips, thinking to herself that this person really knows how to show off.

Luo Chunyan also got a bottle of water, unscrewed the cap, and gulped down more than half of it before she finally felt alive again.
