Jiang Xiaoli put her arm around each of their shoulders. "No, don't overthink it. I just really enjoy the comfort of living at home. My mom lives alone at home while I'm at boarding school, so I can spend time with her when I go home. I'm still in the dorm at noon, so don't try to secretly ostracize me!"

Hu Jingxin panicked, "How could I possibly ostracize you!"

Ren Zhiyi understood what she meant and said with a smile, "Xin Xin, she's just teasing us!"

Then she asked, "Xiaoli, is your home far from school? Is it inconvenient for you to come to class in the morning if you live at home?"

Jiang Xiaoli shook her head, "It's very close. I'll talk to my mom about inviting you to our house for dinner later."

Hu Jingxin said enviously, "That's so great. I can still eat my mom's cooking while I'm in college. I wish my parents could come to Kyoto too."

Ren Zhiyi's words of comfort were very effective: "I'm from Kyoto and I live on campus, so please stop nagging me!"

"Oh right!" Hu Jingxin suddenly became very curious. "Zhiyi, how far is your home from school? You're not going to apply to live at home in a while, are you?"

"No way!" Ren Zhiyi explained with a smile, "My family shop does sell antiques, but most of them are handicrafts. People buy them to display at home for a retro and nice look!"

Jiang Xiaoli nodded, "Take us shopping later, I'm thinking of buying some decorations for my home."

"No problem, I've got it covered!" Ren Zhiyi assured confidently.

The three of them carried their books back to the dormitory; the other three had already returned.

Sun Weiwei was talking to Chang Yue and Jin Zhi when she saw the three of them and asked, "When are you electing class officers? Do you want to run?"

Hu Jingxin was the first to respond, "I want to run for class monitor."

Ren Zhiyi thought for a moment, "I want to run for the position of Youth League Branch Secretary."

Before Jiang Xiaoli could speak, Sun Weiwei said with a slight smile, "Hu Jingxin, Jiang Xiaoli is such a good student, do you think you can be elected as the class monitor if you're in the same class as her?"

Hu Jingxin frowned. "If Xiaoli also wants to be the class monitor, then I'll switch to someone else."

Jiang Xiaoli glanced at Sun Weiwei, then waved to Hu Jingxin, "No, Xinxin, you choose yours, I'll vote for you."

Ren Zhiyi turned around and asked, "Xiao Li, what position have you set your sights on?"

She shook her head, took the books out of the cloth bag and placed them on her table. "You guys choose. I'm fine with being an ordinary citizen."

No one else reacted, but Sun Weiwei covered her mouth and laughed, "Oh right, I forgot, Jiang Xiaoli is dating, so she probably doesn't have time to get involved in these things in class."

The dormitory suddenly became lively. Ren Zhiyi and Chang Yue even brought stools and gathered around Jiang Xiaoli, asking her to tell them about her dating experiences.

Jiang Xiaoli patted their shoulders, stood up, and walked to Sun Weiwei's side.

She smiled and said, "Sun Weiwei, do you like me a lot? Do you want to be friends with me?"

Sun Weiwei was drinking water when she choked on her words. "Cough cough cough, what did you say?"

Her eyes seemed to say, "What wonderful things are you thinking about?"

Jiang Xiaoli didn't care what she was thinking. "If you didn't like me, why would you pay so much attention to me? You can't talk about anything unless you ask me a question?"

Sun Weiwei's face flushed red, and for a moment she stammered that she hadn't done it.

Jinzhi stepped forward and said, "Jiang Xiaoli, you're being too domineering. Weiwei was just having a normal chat with us. Please don't overinterpret it."

"Oh, just a normal chat." She nodded. "Okay, sure."

She stopped talking and turned around to sit back on the stool, leaving Sun Weiwei and Jinzhi completely confused.

Chang Yue, however, sat with her back to the two of them, secretly gave Jiang Xiaoli a thumbs up, and silently said "Awesome."

The atmosphere in the dormitory was a bit strange. Hu Jingxin raised her hand and asked, "It's almost 12 o'clock, let's go to the cafeteria for lunch."

Everyone agreed to her suggestion, and Chang Yue followed her out.

After going downstairs, Chang Yue, taking advantage of her height, put her arm around Jiang Xiaoli's shoulder. "Haha, I've always felt that Sun Weiwei talks in a strange way, but she hasn't said anything too offensive, so I really don't know how to talk back."

A smile involuntarily crept onto her lips. "He stopped me on the street, wanting to do business with me."

Hu Jingxin asked curiously, "Is he in business? But he doesn't look like it. He looks like a college student!"

Ren Zhiyi and Chang Yue were excited. "Xin Xin, have you met Xiao Li's boyfriend? Isn't he handsome?"
