1993 came unknowingly. Su Nian and Chu Beichen played happily for a while, and the heavy and sad atmosphere that had been bothering them since the South China Sea finally faded away.

Su Nian looked at the time and it was almost one in the morning. "What should I do? Beichen, although it's so late, I still want to take a shower and rest."

Su Nian curled up on the sofa with a pillow in her arms, pouting and acting coquettishly towards Chu Beichen.

Chu Beichen smiled gently, picked her up, and walked towards the bathroom, "How about this, let me help you wash, so you can have a good rest!"

Su Nian was so sleepy that she couldn't open her eyes. When she returned home and snuggled into the warm and sweet bed, she realized that she was still in the honeymoon period!

"Hmm," Su Nian thought of words to describe Chu Beichen's smell, "You are like sunshine, and also a hint of grass!"

Chu Beichen hugged Su Nian tightly, pressed close to her, and kissed Su Nian's cheek gently, but found that she had fallen asleep!

Chu Beichen smiled and fell asleep with his arms around Su Nian.

The next day, Su Nian slept soundly. In the middle of the night, Chu Beichen came in and brought her a glass of warm water. Su Nian drank it all in one breath, turned over and fell asleep again.

When she woke up again, it was already the afternoon of the next day. Chu Beichen was sitting next to her, gently tickling the soft flesh on her waist, "Su Nian, it's time to get up and eat something!"

Su Nian hummed in her mouth, but her body shrank back into the quilt. Chu Beichen didn't know whether to laugh or cry, "Little lazy bastard, look at the time?"

Chu Beichen picked up the watch on the bedside table, put it in Su Nian's hand, and let her check the time herself.

Su Nian was frightened. She jumped out of bed despite the pain in her waist, washed up, and when she came out, the room was filled with a fragrance. "What's that smell? It smells so good!" Su Nian ran to the kitchen with her nose twitching.

The small steel pot was steaming on the gas stove. Chu Beichen stirred it with a spoon. "Mom came over at noon and brought us porridge and buns. You were still sleeping, so I didn't wake you up!"

Su Nian blinked, feeling very embarrassed. "Beichen, in a situation like this, you should wake me up!"

Chu Beichen looked helpless. "I was already at the bedroom door when my mom grabbed me and told me not to disturb you and let you sleep a little longer!"

In fact, Chu Beichen omitted a part, which was that Chu's mother criticized him and told him not to let his temper mess with Su Nian and to exercise restraint!

Su Nian was very touched. God gave her such a mother, and compensated her with a good mother-in-law, who was closer to her than her own mother!

Soon, shredded chicken and meat congee, cold bracken salad, and mushroom and meat buns were served on the table.
