Rebirth in the Apocalypse: Space Hoarding and Supernatural Abilities Rise

Su Yao was reborn with the painful memories of the previous apocalypse. With only a month until the apocalypse struck again, she decided not to sit idly by.

She spent all her savings to hoard...

Chapter 40 The Unholy Queen of the Apocalypse

Through repeated brutal battles and scrambles for supplies, Su Yao became increasingly resolute in her survival strategy. She understood that in this apocalyptic world, only the strong and ruthless could survive.

That day, the system sent a message: "There may be some special cold-weather gear and ancient weapons in the museum in the city center. These items will be of great help in fighting against the harsh environment and potential threats of the apocalypse." Upon hearing this, Su Yao immediately decided to go.

When she arrived near the museum, she found a group of people already gathered there. These people seemed to have also heard about the treasure inside and were discussing how to breach the museum's defenses. Su Yao observed quietly from the side, knowing she couldn't act rashly.

At this point, a disagreement arose within the crowd. Some advocated cooperating to enter the museum and then dividing the supplies equally, while others, their eyes darting around, clearly had their own plans. Suddenly, one of the seemingly honest and kind-hearted men, taking advantage of a moment of inattention, pulled out a dagger and stabbed the person next to him. Instantly, chaos erupted; people began attacking each other, shouts of killing and screams mingling together.

Su Yao watched all this coldly, showing no intention of intervening. Only after they were both severely injured did she slowly walk towards the museum entrance. By this time, the entrance's defense system had malfunctioned due to the previous fight, and Su Yao easily broke through the remaining defenses using her fire-based abilities.

Upon entering the museum, Su Yao saw a variety of artifacts and exhibits. Undeterred, she quickly followed the system's guidance and found the exhibition hall housing special cold-weather gear and ancient weapons. The cold-weather gear was exquisitely crafted, made of special materials, capable of withstanding extreme cold while remaining lightweight and comfortable. The ancient weapons were also well-preserved; some gleamed with a cold light, while others possessed unique shapes, exuding a mysterious power.

Just as Su Yao was about to put these things into her spatial storage, she suddenly heard footsteps behind her. She turned around and saw several survivors from the group she had met earlier. Their faces were covered in blood, and their eyes revealed greed and ferocity.

"Put these things down, they're ours!" one of them shouted.

Su Yao's lips curled into a mocking smile: "Come and take it if you dare."

Before she finished speaking, flames ignited in her hands, and she charged towards the enemies. This time, her attack was even more ferocious, the flames sweeping towards them like a whirlwind. The men hadn't expected Su Yao to be so powerful; they tried to retaliate, but Su Yao's speed and strength far surpassed theirs. Seizing the opportunity, she trapped one of them with flames, then picked up an ancient spear and thrust it directly at another enemy. The spear pierced the enemy's body, and Su Yao forcefully flung the corpse aside.

The remaining enemies were terrified and tried to escape. But Su Yao wouldn't let them get away so easily. She used her powers to create barriers of fire in the museum's passageways, trapping the enemies within. Then, she defeated them one by one, giving them no chance to catch their breath.

After dealing with these people, Su Yao continued collecting supplies. She also discovered some ancient books in a corner of the museum, which recorded ancient survival techniques and mysterious methods for cultivating power. Although Su Yao didn't know if these methods were truly effective, she decided to take the books with her, hoping to discover some information helpful for survival later.

After leaving the museum, Su Yao encountered another group of mutated snow rats on her way back. These snow rats were enormous, with sharp teeth, and charged at her in droves. Su Yao remained calm; she took out the ancient weapon she had obtained from the museum from her spatial storage and engaged the snow rats in battle.

Her movements were lightning fast, each swing of her weapon striking the snow rats' vital points with pinpoint accuracy. Simultaneously, she used her fire-based abilities to create high-temperature zones around her, deterring the snow rats from approaching. During the battle, Su Yao noticed that these snow rats seemed to be driven by a mysterious force, which she guessed might be due to some kind of mutation caused by the apocalyptic environment.

Without much thought, Su Yao focused on dealing with the snow rats' attacks. After a fierce battle, she successfully eliminated all the snow rats. Although she had some scratches and abrasions, her eyes remained resolute.

Back at the safe house, Su Yao took out the newly acquired supplies and ancient books. The family sat together and began to study these new finds. Su Yao knew that they would face many more challenges in this apocalyptic world, but she was confident that with her spatial abilities, system, superpowers, and decisive and ruthless style, she could ensure her family's survival in this cruel world.
