Rebirth in the Great Primitive World

After a shipwreck, Li Qing arrives in a primordial world where dinosaurs, ferocious beasts, and humans coexist.

The story... begins here!

Chapter 86 The Matter Is Over (Part 1)

Li Qing and Chu Xian made it clear to these people that as long as they didn't cause trouble, the Vajra Giant Ape wouldn't harm them. Then, they would assess their reactions based on reality. Fear and the urge to run away were normal and acceptable in Li Qing's view, but Li Qing would never tolerate them losing control of their emotions and "disobeying orders" by running away without regard for anything.

After all, even if such people don't betray the Red Flower Tribe now, it's only a matter of time before they do, tempted by "authority" or "comfort."

Li Qing desperately wanted to avoid this situation; he desired absolute loyalty.

Fortunately, there isn't a single person like that in the current squad.

That's why Li Qing said what he just said.

For a tribe to thrive and prosper, besides having a strong geographical location and overall strength, the most important thing is that everyone is of one mind and has no disloyalty. Only in this way can a tribe survive in this dangerous environment.

"...I wonder how things are going with Dian," Li Qing replied to Chu, feeling a little nervous. "The situation there should be even more tense than here. Even with Dian there, the remaining members of the Black Wind Tribe might not be able to do anything to us. Their overall strength is greater, and they are more willing to fight to the death."

Li Qing wasn't worried about this group of people because they had no way out. If they retreated, they would be hated by everyone around them.

Under that kind of pressure, no one would want to back down.

If they survive, then the likelihood of them betraying us later will be much smaller.

Li Qing took a deep breath and looked towards the battlefield.

Suddenly, Thornface and two or three high-ranking warriors climbed a tree. Using the trunk as leverage, they leaped into the air and thrust their spears at the giant ape with its back to them.

They moved extremely quickly, without the slightest hesitation. Clearly, they had encountered similar unexpected situations several times before, which is why their actions this time were swift, efficient, and seamless.

“If we can bring them to the Red Flower Tribe, it would be a great boost to the tribe,” Li Qing’s pupils contracted, and he felt a sense of appreciation. “The tribe is not lacking in ‘courage’ now, but it lacks warriors with rich experience in jungle combat like Yong and Ci Mian.”

Thornface's plan was to have some weaker warriors distract the giant ape while he and several stronger warriors would ambush it from behind, hoping to pierce its neck with stone spears. However, they ultimately miscalculated.

Thornface gripped the stone spear tightly with both hands, he had staked everything on this one strike, his mind blank, his attention focused entirely on the giant ape's neck.

We're almost there!

You stupid creature, you're no match for humans after all!

But, as if by some strange twist of fate, the giant ape suddenly turned around.

"No!"

"How is this possible!"

Ci Mian panicked; this wasn't what he had envisioned.

"Has our whereabouts been exposed?"

"I can't move at all in the air... Damn it..."

In an instant, Thornface's mindset changed drastically. Realizing that he couldn't dodge, he roared and his stone spear was suddenly... grabbed by the giant ape.

In the hands of the giant ape, the stone spear was barely bigger than a toothpick.

The giant ape held the spear in Thornface's hand and shook it.

With a ferocious expression, the thorn-faced man roared, "What are you all standing there for? Save me!"

But as soon as he finished speaking, the giant ape threw the stone spear away and grabbed the spiked face in its palm.

It seemed to be able to tell that Thornface was the leader of the Black Wind Tribe. It ignored the others who had come to ambush them and only grabbed Thornface.

"Waaah, waaah..."

The stench emanating from the giant ape's palm made Thornface cough repeatedly. To make matters worse, he felt waves of pain from being squeezed all over his body, making it impossible for Thornface to even groan. His face was pale, and he weakly raised his hand, as if asking his men to save them.

"Stab the face!"

The Black Wind Tribe went mad, and they began to attack the King Kong Giant Ape even more frantically.

The giant ape seemed to completely ignore these people. It stared intently at the thorn-faced man with its large eyes, then lifted him up, tilted its head back, and opened its mouth.

"Is it going to eat me?"

"What on earth did this beast eat? Its mouth smells so bad!"

From this angle, you can see right into the mouth of the Great Ape.

Seeing that its mouth was completely black and there seemed to be a few bits of meat hanging around its teeth, Ci Mian was immediately terrified.

"I don't want to be eaten!"

Driven by the will to survive, Cimian desperately twisted his body, trying to break free.

"..."

This, of course, had no effect on the giant ape. It shook the spiky noodles, as if it didn't think they looked very appetizing, then shut its mouth and threw the noodles on the ground.

"hiss!"

A sharp pain shot through my back.

But Cimian couldn't afford to cry out in pain right now.

He quickly stood up and ran off in one direction without even looking back.

He was genuinely scared.

He is warlike, but that doesn't mean he's not afraid of death, especially when his opponent gives him absolutely no chance of winning!

"What terrifying destructive power!"

This was the first time Chu had ever seen the Vajra Giant Ape make a move. He exclaimed in surprise, "Even a dignified Level 3 warrior like Ci-Face was beaten so badly by the Vajra Giant Ape."

Li Qing said with a wry smile, "So what if we're level three warriors? I'm afraid only ten level three totem warriors combined would have a tiny chance of defeating this giant ape."

"If the King Kong Giant Ape is already this terrifying, how terrifying must a beast like it be?" Chu couldn't believe that such a terrifying creature existed in this world.

...

Fresh blood.

In Dian's hands, the heavy stone axe was already stained with blood.

It's no longer possible to distinguish which parts belong to him and which belong to the Black Wind Tribe.

Dian felt both exhausted and excited.

He hadn't had such a satisfying fight in a long time.

"Is there anyone else who dares to come and die..."

Panting heavily, Dian kicked the corpse of the last Black Wind Tribe warrior down.

Taking this opportunity, he looked down.

Below lay the corpses of Black Wind Tribe warriors, lying haphazardly, each one bleeding profusely, motionless and devoid of life.

"Looks like we succeeded. They're all dead," Dian breathed a sigh of relief and praised the archers who were exhausted and collapsed on the ground. "You did a great job. These beasts paid the price for their actions."

The archers were so exhausted that they didn't even have the strength to speak. They were all panting heavily, and some had even started snoring.

Dian wasn't angry about this. He knew that if he were in their shoes, he probably wouldn't have performed as well. He looked at the archers scattered on the ground, smiled kindly, then suddenly remembered something, clenched his fists again, touched the stone axe, and looked into the distance where Li Qing and the others had disappeared.
