When Secretary Song returned home happily, she heard the arguing downstairs again. Upon hearing the familiar sounds, she knew they were coming from Director Zhou's house.

Everyone in the courtyard was used to it. It wasn't really a matter of who was right or wrong; the old lady was the elder and doted on her grandson. The daughter-in-law, on the other hand, felt she was a modern woman and shouldn't be oppressed like in the old society. So they argued incessantly.

When Secretary Song returned home, her father was looking out his window.

"The Zhou family is arguing again, and your mother is out again. Why are you making a scene?"

Father Song shook his head and sighed. He felt it was pointless. The Zhou family would come over every few days. Especially since the old lady came to the city from the countryside, they've made even more of a fuss.

Secretary Song remembered Su Yu's previous offer to help Director Zhou resolve his family issues and couldn't help but smile.
