Liu Sandao stared wide-eyed at Wang Hu greedily, muttering, "I want more money; this isn't enough!" However, Wang Hu glanced at him disdainfully, then let out a contemptuous sneer. Wang Hu slowly leaned close to Liu Sandao's ear and whispered, "Hmph, even if you don't take this money, I still have ways to kick you out of this city!"

Immediately afterward, Wang Hu straightened up, staring intently at Liu Sandao, and continued, "Ever since you instructed your wife to set your sights on me, I've been plotting how to deal with you. Who would have thought that you, this reckless gambler, would lose your own house and even beat up your wife, giving me the perfect opportunity to strike!"

Wang Hu spoke in this way simply to draw all of Liu Sandao's resentment towards him. After all, he couldn't possibly keep a 24/7 watch over Zhang Lirong. Besides, this was a society governed by law, and no matter how much he hated her, he would never rashly take Liu Sandao's life.

Upon hearing these words, Liu Sandao's face turned deathly pale, but he gritted his teeth and nodded in agreement.

Seeing this, Wang Hu was afraid that things might change, so he quickly urged, "Since that's the case, we don't need to waste any more time. You wait here, and I'll take you two there in a bit!"

He then gestured for Liu Sandao to wait there for a while, and then turned and hurriedly left, intending to go home and call Zhang Lirong to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to complete the divorce procedures.

Fortunately, the Civil Affairs Bureau is not too far away, and since there is no so-called cooling-off period at the time, as long as both parties agree to the divorce, the relevant procedures can be completed smoothly in a short time.

When Wang Hu hurried home, he found that his neighbors were already gone.

Wang Hu took out a key from his pocket, inserted it into the lock, and turned it gently. With a crisp "click," the door was slowly pushed open.

However, in that instant, a cacophony of chatter flooded his ears. Looking closely, he saw that the room was packed with a group of women. Their gazes, like burning flames, were all fixed on Wang Hu, who had just entered.

These women were all young wives from this neighborhood, each dressed in their finest attire and looking stunning. Only such young wives had the leisure time and money to go for beauty treatments, which is why they were very close to Zhang Lirong.

Having gone through a series of experiences, Wang Hu's skin was now thicker than a city wall. Facing the intense gazes of so many women, he showed no shyness whatsoever, instead meeting their eyes head-on without flinching. For a moment, the atmosphere became somewhat subtle and tense.

At this moment, Zhang Lirong, who was sitting on the sofa, hurriedly stood up, walked quickly to Wang Hu's side, grabbed his arm, and asked with concern, "How is it? Darling, you didn't hit him too hard and kill him, did you?"

Wang Hu shook his head helplessly and replied irritably, "What nonsense are you thinking! I'm a law-abiding citizen, okay!" Although he said that, he was actually a little proud. After all, the fact that his beloved woman was so worried about him showed that she cared about him very much.

Just as Wang Hu was about to tell her that Liu Sandao had agreed to the divorce, the young wife who had called Zhang Lirong earlier suddenly stood up and said coquettishly, "Oh, Rongrong, why are you only talking to your own man? You're not even introducing this handsome guy to us!"

Zhang Lirong blushed slightly and said, "This is Wang Hu, my..." She paused, a wave of inner turmoil washing over her. After all, she was incredibly embarrassed to openly declare in front of everyone that Wang Hu was her lover! How humiliating that would be!

Just then, Wang Hu, who was standing to the side, introduced himself in a bold and confident manner: "I am Rongrong's man!" His voice was loud and firm.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Lirong was taken aback at first, then a shy blush spread across her face. She instinctively tightened her grip on Wang Hu's arm, seemingly trying to express her dependence and affection for him. Then, she began to introduce Wang Hu to the young wives around him one by one.

She pointed to one of the women, who was pretty and had a gentle demeanor, and said, "This is Yu Rong, you can just call her Sister Yu Rong!" Wang Hu quickly nodded politely and greeted her with a smile, "Hello, Sister Yu Rong!" Yu Rong responded gently, "Hello, young man, you look very handsome!"

Then, Zhang Lirong pointed to another tall, smiling woman and introduced her, "This is Luo Juan, you can just call her Sister Juan!" Wang Hu respectfully greeted her again, "Sister Juan, hello!" Luo Juan laughed heartily, "Haha, hello little brother!"

And so, Zhang Lirong introduced these sisters to Wang Hu one by one, from Yu Rong to Luo Juan, then to Liu Yanyan, and so on, totaling more than a dozen people. Fortunately, Wang Hu had a good memory, and although he was a little overwhelmed at first, he quickly remembered each person's name and title.

However, when the group of women learned that Wang Hu was only 19 years old, they were all so surprised that their mouths dropped open. They looked at Zhang Lirong in disbelief and then teased her, "Oh my, Lirong, you're really an old cow eating young grass!" Faced with everyone's teasing, Zhang Lirong just blushed and scolded them, "Don't talk nonsense!" But her eyes were full of happiness and sweetness.

Wang Hu quickly said, "Ladies, I've successfully persuaded Liu Sandao to get a divorce. If you keep chatting like this, the Civil Affairs Bureau might have to close down!" Hearing this, the women realized they couldn't delay their business any longer, so they all stood up and prepared to leave.
