As this is my first time writing a book, there may be some flaws!...
Afternoon sunlight streamed into the room through the gaps in the curtains. He walked into the living room and turned on his computer. The moment the screen lit up, he eagerly opened his stock trading software, anxiously waiting for the page to load. When he saw that the stocks he was watching had indeed risen as expected, Wang Hu couldn't help but feel a surge of joy.
"Hehe, my sixth sense is ridiculously accurate!" he muttered to himself, a smug smile spreading across his face. Excited, Wang Hu decided to take this opportunity to improve his financial knowledge. So, he skillfully opened his browser, typed "stock trading" into the search bar, and pressed enter. Soon, a wide variety of related information appeared on the webpage.
After careful selection, I found the post with the most likes and began reading it with great interest. However, as I read on, he gradually frowned.
"Even if stocks hit the daily limit up, the return is only 10%? But with futures, if the price rises by 5%, because of leverage, the return can be 5% multiplied by 10, or even 5% multiplied by 20? How come I never knew that before..." Wang Hu muttered to himself, secretly regretting his ignorance. At this moment, he finally deeply understood the huge gap between having knowledge and not having knowledge.
"Sigh, oh well, now that I know all this, I'll learn it slowly later. Anyway, I can't sell any stocks today, so I'll wait until tomorrow." Wang Hu shook his head helplessly and closed the stock trading software.
Wang Hu realized that he needed to acquire more comprehensive knowledge. With this in mind, Wang Hu made up his mind to enrich himself.
Without hesitation, Wang Hu immediately started searching online for information on learning English. He quickly found a series of courses and practice materials suitable for beginners and began his self-study journey diligently.
Before he knew it, half an hour had passed. Wang Hu realized that although he had memorized quite a few words, he always stumbled and hesitated when he actually tried to speak them. "It seems that just memorizing words isn't enough; I need to listen and speak more." Just as Wang Hu was pondering how to improve his spoken English, his gaze accidentally fell on a video website next to him. On a whim, he quickly clicked on the website and found a classic English movie—the disaster film "Twister"—to watch.
The film's thrilling plot captivated Wang Hu, who stared intently at the screen, completely immersed in it. He didn't know how much time had passed before the movie ended, and he snapped out of his reverie. Just as he was about to stretch his stiff body, he heard a slight noise at the door. Turning around, he saw Chen Linlin carrying a shopping basket, seemingly heading out to buy groceries.
Wang Hu quickly picked up his phone from the table and glanced at the time, surprised to find that it was already past 5 p.m. "Wow, time flies! A few hours have passed just like that," he remarked.
Wang Hu stopped her and said, "Don't cook today, let's eat out!"
Just then, Meng Zhiyun came out and asked Wang Hu, "Where are we going to eat? Are we going to Fuchun Hotel again?"
Wang Hu waved his hand and said to the two of them, "We're going to Yintai today. We were planning to buy you two bags yesterday, but we didn't have the money to pay. Today we'll make up for that."
After listening, the two suddenly understood. Chen Linlin put down the vegetable basket in her hand, went back into the house to get her bag, and Meng Zhiyun went back to change her clothes and also got a bag.
After arriving at Yintai, Wang Hu asked the two women whether they wanted to eat first or go shopping first.
Both of them said they wanted to go shopping first, because Wang Hu had taken such good care of them these past few days, making them both look radiant.
Meng Zhiyun used to be pretty, but she didn't wear much makeup. However, after Chen Linlin moved in and Zhang Feng taught her, Meng Zhiyun became even more beautiful after putting on makeup.
While shopping, all the men on the street looked at Wang Hu with envy.
They strolled around for a while, but neither of them said they wanted to buy anything. Any man who has ever gone shopping with a woman knows that there's no sense of accomplishment, and it's tiring too. With no other option, Wang Hu simply dragged them to a Givenchy boutique next door.
He directly told the sales assistants, "100,000 each, and make sure they buy the right items. If they don't buy, you won't have any sales targets."
Upon hearing Wang Hu's words, the sales assistant stared at Chen Linlin and Meng Zhiyun with shining eyes, as if they were two golden babies.
They quickly called two people out, one grabbing Meng Zhiyun and the other grabbing Chen Linlin.
Meng Zhiyun said, "Beautiful lady, look how well this dress suits you. It makes you look so elegant..."
On the other side, Chen Linlin was in a similar situation.
Wang Hu wasn't in a hurry and sat down to play on his phone. At that moment, a clever sales assistant handed Wang Hu a piece of paper.
Wang Hu glanced at the saleswoman. She was very pretty, but she gave him a bad feeling. He trusted his intuition a lot these days, so he didn't refuse. He just put the paper in his pocket, planning to throw it away when he left.
Half an hour later, the two changed their clothes. Chen Linlin wore a beige dress with smooth lines, which accentuated her curves.
Meng Zhiyun is dressed in a stylish suit; the top and pants are simple and elegant, giving her a fashionable and capable look, like an industry elite. (Since I can't post pictures, I can only describe her. She looks a lot like the famous actress Ning Jing. Meng Zhiyun is a real-life figure, just with a different name.)
