Wan'er was very happy during this time, even though her left side of her face was disfigured, pitted, twisted, and terrifying, and her right side was covered with crisscrossing scars.

But the care from her boyfriend and concern from her teammates made her feel truly lucky.

She was once a beautiful young woman, but now she is unrecognizable.

Despite this, her boyfriend never thought she was ugly.

During this time, with the care of the Lord and the concern of her teammates, Wan'er gradually integrated into the team environment.

"Vice Captain, I'm so happy to see you gradually integrating into our group and becoming more cheerful." Yue Ying looked at Wan'er's face and asked happily, sensing the recent changes in her.

Wan'er smiled and nodded: "I'm fine. Thank you for your continued support and for not disliking my ugly face."

“Vice Captain, we won’t mind. Compared to your face, those zombies were a thousand times uglier, their bodies were not only infested with maggots, but also incredibly smelly.”

"We've been able to spend a lot of time with them, so what you're doing is nothing." Su Ye said, looking up as he played with Yue Ying's hand.

Junjue walked to Wan'er's side and gently held her scarred hand. "You know what? I've never thought you were ugly. To me, you're still the beautiful Wan'er."

Wan'er was moved to tears, knowing that she held a special place in Junjue's heart.

On the day they met, the Duke did not distance himself from her because of her appearance; instead, he took the initiative to talk to her.

During her time with Junjue, Wan'er gradually discovered that he was not someone who only cared about appearances.

In the team, every member cared deeply for Wan'er. Junjue and his teammates always encouraged her not to overthink things, just to make her happy.

Seeing her supportive boyfriend, teammates, and housekeeper Zhao, she gradually felt her own worth.

Wan'er tried to adjust her mindset. She stopped pretending to be strong and opened her heart to accept the help and care from her teammates.

"Vice Captain, you're the best," Yue Ying praised.

Wan'er smiled confidently: "Thank you for your support. You have made me stronger."

As time passed, Wan'er gradually let go of her inferiority complex about her appearance.

She discovered that although she was completely disfigured, her teammates' attitudes towards her had not changed, and their care and affection for her remained the same.

At noon, Ye Yuan sat in front of his computer, watching the global changes, and said with a pleasant mood:

"Since the zombies were cleared out, although there are still some mutated beasts and mutated plants, there are far fewer of them in the past five years. There are not as many mutated beasts as before."

It's important to understand that the ability to instantly destroy global infrastructure is a terrifying thing.

Hearing his teammate's words, Junjue's worried mood grew even heavier under the sunlight.

He looked at his eight teammates on the sofa; it was time to tell them some harsh truths in advance.

"Everyone, I have important news to tell you." The Duke looked at everyone with a firm and serious gaze. "We only have four years left to prepare."

Upon hearing this, the teammates began to discuss it, their faces showing astonishment and disbelief.

Shangguan Wan'er raised her head, Di Zhantian frowned, while Dongfang Ao's eyes shone with anticipation. The other teammates all looked at Junjue, wondering what important matter had made their captain so serious.

"What do you mean? Is the world about to end?" Di Zhantian's voice carried a hint of unease.

The Duke's worries grew heavier under the lamplight. In the silent castle, he needed to tell his teammates these cruel truths.

"Everyone, I have important news to tell you." The Duke looked at everyone with a firm and serious gaze. "We only have four years left."

Upon hearing this, the teammates began to discuss it, their faces showing astonishment and disbelief.

Shangguan Wan'er looked up at the stern-faced Jun Jue. Di Zhantian frowned, while Dongfang Ao's eyes gleamed with anticipation. Everyone around them watched Jun Jue, waiting for his next words.

"What do you mean? Is it the end of the world?" Di Zhantian's voice carried a hint of unease.

The Duke nodded and said in a deep voice, "Yes, four years from now, Blue Star will be struck by countless meteorites, shattering everything on the surface."

The teammates exchanged bewildered glances, and the atmosphere grew tense. Looking at their expressions, Junjue felt a sense of powerlessness and unease.

Su Ye broke the silence, angrily asking, "Who manipulated this meteorite? Why target Earth?"

Junjue sighed, "This meteorite wasn't manipulated by humans; it drifted from space." There was a hint of helplessness in his tone.

Ye Yuan frowned deeply. "Is there any way we can save Blue Star?"

"Yes! This is such a huge matter. If it goes wrong, it could destroy all of humanity, and human civilization would cease to exist," Su Ye said anxiously.
