Shopkeeper Tong introduced Xiaoyue to Shopkeeper Huang.

Upon hearing that the man wanted to buy the shop, he busied himself with solicitous service.

Xiaoyue said, "Manager Huang, why don't you show us around the shop?"

Manager Huang led Manager Tong and Xiaoyue out the back door. Xiaoyue saw a courtyard, and following the covered walkway on the left, there were two east wing rooms. Xiaoyue went into the wing rooms and took a look.

Inside was where the workers lived. Inside, there was a water vat, a washstand, and a clothesline. In the inner room, there was a kang (a heated brick bed) against the wall, with a cabinet on it, and a long bench by the window.

After leaving the east wing, we arrived at the main house, a three-room house with a blue tile roof. The middle room was the reception room, and the left and right sides were the rest rooms.

Manager Huang then led Xiaoyue and the others through the moon gate, which led to the residence of Manager Huang's family. The main house consisted of three large tiled rooms, the east wing was the room of Manager Huang's son, and the west wing was the family's storeroom.

After looking at the backyard, Xiaoyue went to the front yard and looked at the west wing, which was also a storeroom, but a storeroom for selling goods.

Xiaoyue nodded to Manager Tong, who then asked Manager Huang, "When will the house be vacant?"

Manager Huang chuckled sheepishly: "Anytime. I won't lie to you, the old boss. The sign has been up for over half a month, and not a single person has inquired about it. Now that someone has finally taken over, I'm not going to let her get away with it."

He then said to Xiaoyue, "Call your master here to process the land deed for the house."

Xiaoyue looked at it and smiled, "I can do it."

He glanced at the sky again and said, "Why don't we go now? My donkey cart is still parked at the door."

After thinking for a moment, he asked, "Manager Huang, besides the backyard which needs to be moved, is there anything else in the front yard that needs to be moved?"

Manager Huang laughed out loud: "Your niece is a shrewd person."

The group went to the government office to complete the property transfer. Xu Fanyuan happened to come out with them. Xiaoyue paid the money and treated Manager Tong, the young waiter, Manager Huang, Shi Lei, and Xu Fanyuan to a meal at a small restaurant.

He said to Shi Lei, "You can stay at the wine shop and help Manager Huang move things."
