"You haven't been to work for two months, and you and your mother have been idle at home every day. Why didn't you buy all these things sooner?"

"How am I, a grown man, supposed to know what to buy? I've never even seen any of these things before!"

Liu Lan said irritably, "I was thinking that it's only seven or eight months, and there's still a long way to go before I give birth!"

I almost miscarried. For the past month or so, I've been focused on protecting the pregnancy and haven't dared to go out or squeeze onto public transportation to buy anything.

Didn't the doctor say that this pregnancy was very successful and that I would definitely be able to give birth at full term?

Chen Hong closed her eyes and groaned softly, "It had nothing to do with my mother. I was just taking a walk downstairs when I heard someone telling me something strange, and I got scared."

Those people do nothing but compare themselves to others and gossip; what interesting things do they have to tell you?

Seeing Liu Lan half-asleep, Yu Hai went to the corridor to call his mother-in-law.

"Mom, where are you? Come back quickly after you finish eating. Liu Lan has a stomachache, and I can't change her toilet paper and wipe her body by myself!"

After hanging up the phone, Yu Hai saw from the door that the medicine in the IV bottle could not be changed for another half hour, so he quickly ran to the pediatric ward.

First, check on the child, then find the father. A father-in-law really shouldn't stay in his daughter-in-law's hospital room.

His father can't just stay here forever; he hasn't even had lunch yet. We can't let the old man go hungry!

When they arrived at the pediatric ward, his father was watching through the glass window as the doctors and nurses fed, burped, and changed diapers for the babies in the incubators.

In the corner next to them, two nurses were bathing and weighing the children.

Look at these professionals, they have at least a dozen babies under a month old in this room, their cries as weak as kittens'.

The four medical staff took excellent care of the children, handling tasks like wiping their poop and changing their diapers quickly and efficiently.

They also bathed and checked the children's health. The children felt very comfortable and clean here, and they slept well.
