The textbooks for first grade are the simplest: five books—Chinese, Math, Art, Music, and Moral Education—without even a workbook.

Yu Yang took out his notebook and told his mother about what happened at school that morning, chattering away nonstop.

"Mom, this morning the teacher took us to see the public toilets, the library, the playground, the water fountain, and several other places."

The teacher said that school uniforms will be distributed tomorrow, and students can exchange them if they don't fit.

"Mom, the teacher also said that parents can decide for themselves whether to buy workbooks or supplementary practice tests."

Chen Hong nodded, "The teacher probably means that learning depends entirely on self-discipline!"

Even the best teacher cannot simply cram knowledge into a student's head.

There are more than fifty students in your class. You all go to the same school, sit in the same classroom, are taught by the same teachers, and use the exact same textbooks.

Why are there still differences between students who excel in their studies and those who don't? There are many questions behind this.

But more importantly, something you can control yourself, is diligence and hard work.

So never say that children are being unreasonable or forbid them from watching TV or movies.

Think back to our childhood, when we would walk miles to various places to watch educational movies, braving wind, snow, and freezing cold.

We may have forgotten the characters, scenes, or content of books we read as children, and we may not even remember the titles.

I only occasionally hear others mention it, and I might recall a certain person's name, place name, or author's name. Most of the information has long been forgotten.

However, some classic and vivid scenes in movies and TV dramas are unforgettable!

Of course, when children are young, parents should take the initiative to select suitable films and television shows for them that have positive values.

Simply forbidding children from doing certain things can actually arouse their curiosity and rebellious tendencies.

Chen Hong has always agreed that it's good to live in sync with your children's lives, eating together, exercising together, studying together, and watching TV series together.

But it also allows children to maintain their independence, with free time to play with toys, watch cartoons, and play with their friends.

Chen Hong also has her own schedule: doing housework, socializing, and most importantly, keeping busy in her online space!

After getting up in the afternoon, Yu Yang drank two large glasses of cold water before going out with his mother.
