Jiang Ruzhen glared at Lu Mingzheng's back before turning to look out the window.

"Hey! Where are you taking me? This isn't the way to the train station!"

"Okay, I'll take you to see something fun," Lu Mingzheng replied.

The car drove out into the suburbs, and the place became more and more desolate until it stopped at the foot of a large mountain.

"Where am I? Lu Mingzheng, you're not going to kidnap me, are you?"

Lu Mingzheng got out of the car, opened the back door, stretched out his arms, and carried Jiang Ruzhen out to the front.

Jiang Ruzhen habitually put her arm around Lu Mingzheng's neck and looked ahead curiously.

"Aren't you afraid I'll sell you? Why don't you look scared at all?" Lu Mingzheng asked with a smile.

"With our IQs, we don't even know who's betraying whom!" Jiang Ruzhen said confidently.

It took Jiang Ruzhen a full twenty minutes to see a military truck parked on the side of the road ahead.

"What are you doing?"

Jiang Ruzhen's eyes widened as Lu Mingzheng whispered two words in her ear.

Jiang Ruzhen immediately covered her mouth, unable to hide the excitement on her face.

"Really? Can I really see it with my own eyes?"

Lu Mingzheng didn't reply, but instead carried Jiang Ruzhen directly to the car.

After putting the person down, Jiang Ruzhen saw a row of blindfolded people five meters ahead, trembling and begging for mercy.

One of the women looked very familiar; it was Li Fen.
