After resting in the village for two days, Yuan Shu also incorporated the fifty-three Japanese men in the village into his own army.

On that day, the guide led the village chief to Yuan Shu.

"Young master, as you instructed, we have found out everything."

As he spoke, the guide took out a simple map he had just drawn, spread it out in front of Yuan Shu, and then said:

"This Xieyutai tribe is one of the five major powers of the Yamatai Kingdom. It has about 200,000 people and consists of three cities and eight fortresses. Each city and fortress has a garrison of 1,000 to 3,000 soldiers."

Our village is located in the far north, more than 500 li (approximately 250 kilometers) from the nearest fortified town. Because of its remoteness, people from the town rarely come here!

Yuan Shu's eyes lit up: "So, in the short term, we won't be discovered here?"

The guide nodded: "Yes, young master, the city only sends people over in December each year when taxes are collected!"

Yuan Shu asked, "How many villages and how many people are there within a radius of a hundred li?"

The guide then said, "There are about fifty villages and around thirty thousand people!"

"Hmm, these people are enough!"

Yuan Shu chuckled and immediately made his decision.

Afterwards, Yuan Shu summoned Ji Ling and the others together and said, "Brothers, we have figured out the situation here. There is no force around that can threaten us."

With our numbers, we can easily establish ourselves here, then command the local Japanese to mine, produce, and capture slaves for us. At that point, fame and fortune will be within our grasp!

Ji Ling said, "Young Master, please give your orders. We will all obey!"

The others nodded in agreement; Yuan Shu's plan had also greatly appealed to them.

Yuan Shu then stood up and said loudly, "Very well, let's begin tomorrow. We'll start by attacking the surrounding villages one by one, and then recruit their men into our ranks. We'll try to expand our forces to three thousand men in a short time!"

"Yes, young master!"

Ji Ling and the others responded excitedly in unison, and then went down to begin their preparations.

That night, Yuan Shu had just lain down when he heard a knock on the door, followed by Ji Ling's voice.

Ji Ling chuckled and then led the woman to Yuan Shu.

Ji Ling quickly shook his head: "Young master, you misunderstand. This woman took the initiative to ask the village chief to offer her to you. The village chief was afraid that you would not accept her, so he asked me to deliver her to you!"

Yuan Shu was also taken aback. It was his first time going out, and he never expected that someone would come to him on their own initiative.

Ji Ling laughed in agreement, then turned and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

After Ji Ling left, Yuan Shu immediately stepped forward, reached out a finger, lifted her chin, and carefully examined the woman's appearance.

At this time, Ji Ling and the others, along with the fifty-three men, were already prepared and waiting in the village.

After they reunited, Yuan Shu led his men toward the nearest village.
