He Xue, a modern woman with a keen interest in Qing Dynasty history, felt regret over the fate of the deposed Crown Prince, believing he didn't deserve such an end. If given the chance, she was...
The Crown Prince looked at the First Prince with a dark expression, while the First Prince raised an eyebrow at the Crown Prince smugly.
The prince brought Shushu to the side and patiently asked, "Shushu, why do you want to sleep with your aunt?"
"Because Auntie smells sweet and is soft!"
I know that too, that's why I want to sleep with Yuki!
"Is my elder brother just here for the spectacle? Are we going to be separated on our second day of marriage?" the Crown Prince thought to himself, exasperated.
"Shushu, would you like a little sister?" the Crown Prince asked.
Shushu thought for a moment. If she had a little sister, she wouldn't be the youngest anymore, so she readily said, "Yes!"
"But if you sleep with your aunt, she won't be able to give you a little sister. So, in order to have a little sister, you shouldn't sleep with your aunt!"
"Why?" Shushu asked, bewildered.
The Crown Prince racked his brains, but he could only say things that Shu Shu could understand. Moreover, if he spoke too bluntly, the First Prince would probably not be happy and would complain that he was teaching Shu Shu bad things.
"Because only if your aunt and second uncle are together can they give you a beautiful little sister!"
Shushu thought for a moment, "Okay then!"
The crown prince felt relieved after hearing this, thinking, "Finally, we've managed to fool them!"
"I'm going to tell Auntie!" Shushu exclaimed excitedly.
The Crown Prince tried to stop Shu Shu, because if Shu Shu spoke in front of so many people, He Xue would definitely be embarrassed. Unfortunately, the Crown Prince was a step too late, and Shu Shu had already run far away.
"Sigh! No wonder she's my elder brother's daughter, just as impulsive as him!" The Crown Prince said with a smile and a shake of his head.
When the eldest prince saw that the crown prince had returned alone and didn't see Shushu, he asked, "Where did you take my daughter?"
"I've gone to find my sister-in-law!" the Crown Prince said.
Shushu ran up to Hexue and said innocently, "Auntie, you must give me a beautiful little sister! You can sleep with Uncle now!"
"Haha! Who told you that?" the First Princess asked with a laugh.
The other wives also had smiles on their faces.
"Second Uncle!" Shu Shu betrayed the Crown Prince without any hesitation.
"It seems my second brother is getting anxious!" the First Princess said jokingly to He Xue.
Xue blushed and wished she could disappear into the ground. "How could you be like this, Crown Prince! You've corrupted Shushu!"
The First Princess knew that He Xue was probably embarrassed to talk about this topic in front of so many people since they had just gotten married, so she comforted her, saying, "He Xue, you don't need to be shy. This is normal!"
The First Princess then looked at the Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Seventh Princesses, "You all need to hurry up. It's been quite a while since you got married, why aren't you pregnant yet?"
"Sister-in-law, are you trying to urge us to have a baby?" the Third Princess asked with a smile. "Instead of pressuring us, why don't you give Shushu another baby brother or sister?"
"What a mischievous fellow, making fun of me too!" the First Princess said, pointing at the Third Princess.
“As the eldest sister-in-law, she should set an example for us!” Fourth Princess Consort teased.
"I want to see what your third and fourth brothers are feeding you. How come they're so willing to take a loss?" The First Princess said, and went to tickle the Third and Fourth Princesses.
The three of them quickly started arguing.
At this moment, Xia Bing walked in. "Your Highness, the Eleventh Prince and the Twelfth Prince have arrived. The Crown Prince requests your presence!"
“Okay, I understand!” He Xue replied.
The three wives, the First, Third, and Fourth, quickly tidied their clothes and then went out with Xue.
He Xue had been feeling that someone was missing, and then she remembered that the Eleventh Prince and the Twelfth Prince were not there.
Xue wasn't very familiar with the Twelfth Prince, but she knew about his mother, Lady Wanliuha. She wondered if Lady Wanliuha's refusal to be promoted was related to her, and whether the Twelfth Prince would hold a grudge against her for it.
When Xue arrived, she saw the Crown Prince and others gathered around something, with the Third Prince constantly praising it.
"Sister, you've come!" the Eleventh Prince said immediately when he saw He Xue arrive.
Seeing this, the Crown Prince came to He Xue, took her hand, and said, "Come and see, this is a wedding gift from our eleventh brother!"
Upon closer inspection, Xue realized it was a pair of wooden sculptures, or more precisely, sculptures of her and the Crown Prince in their wedding attire. Although small, they were exquisite, with even the texture of their hair visible, and the colors were replicated from their wedding dresses.
"Thank you, Eleventh Prince, I like it very much!" He Xue said to the Eleventh Prince.
"I'm glad you like it, Sister!" The Eleventh Prince said shyly, touching his forehead. "I also owe a lot to Twelfth Brother's help; otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to make it today!"
"Thank you for your hard work, Twelfth Brother!" He Xue thanked the Twelfth Prince.
"I didn't work hard at all, it's all thanks to Eleventh Brother. I just helped with the coloring!" Twelfth Prince said shyly.
"I thought I was too late!" a voice came from behind the group.
