“That’s quite a coincidence.” Shen Miao smiled faintly and said nonchalantly, “Qinzhou isn’t too far from Longye. The Ye family has been searching for it for over ten years but couldn’t find it. Yet, we found it as soon as we entered the Prince’s Mansion this time.” She looked at Ye Mei, “It’s truly fate, isn’t it, Miss Ye?”

Ye Mei smiled: "Of course it is. The Prince's Mansion is a blessed place." She seemed not to hear the hidden meaning in Shen Miao's words, but instead followed suit.

Shen Miao looked away and then looked at Ye Maocai: “Master Ye is here today….”

Ye Maocai hurriedly said, "I'm here to take them back home." He then added, embarrassed, "As their biological father, I've left them stranded for so many years. It's all our fault. The Daliang Imperial Family intended to woo the Ye Family to counter the Lu Family. The Ye Family held a pivotal position within the situation, and therefore remained neutral and uncommitted.
