A super-widespread meteor shower descended upon Blue Star, reshuffling existing scientific laws. Various monsters arrived on Earth with the black rain, alongside the unknown black domains formed af...
Charlie felt a sharp pain in his back as soon as the back of his hand touched the supple hair, before he could even throw his second punch.
Relying on the muscle memory from years of neck-gripping, Gu Mingyue conjured a dagger from her spatial storage before her brain could even issue a command, and stabbed it into the other person's vertebral column.
Before Charlie collapsed, his eyes were filled with disbelief, so much so that he didn't even have time to cry out before his life slipped away.
"W-what happened? It's over already?" His companion exclaimed in surprise. Everything happened too fast. The woman just flashed by, how did she get behind Charlie?
Gu Mingyue stood beside Charlie's corpse, holding a blood-dripping dagger in her hand. Her figure was still slender, and she slowly opened her eyes, a bloodthirsty smile curling at the corner of her mouth.
It seems the reaction training these past few days has gone well; I'm starting to get back into the mindset of post-apocalyptic warfare.
To the other burly men, Gu Mingyue's actions seemed like a demon from hell descending to earth.
"Where... did that dagger come from? Wasn't she wearing short sleeves?" someone exclaimed in shock.
"This woman cheated! She...she somehow pulled out a dagger and killed Charlie!" his companion shouted in panic. He had seen it clearly; the dagger had appeared out of thin air.
An innocent smile appeared on Gu Mingyue's beautiful face, and her ethereal voice reached everyone's ears.
"I said I could kill every single one of you, but I didn't say I'd kill you with my bare hands!" She wasn't stupid. Even if she killed that person without using a dagger, would these people keep their promise?
You should be sincere with trustworthy people, but when dealing with shameless liars, no amount of despicable tactics seems too bad.
Chris was the first to regain his senses and gave a fierce order: "Kill her, avenge Charlie." He then raised his pistol.
The others followed suit, and no matter how beautiful the woman was, if she threatened their safety, they would kill her.
Thud thud thud thud!
Just before the bullet left the barrel, the beautiful figure vanished like a ghost in full view of everyone, leaving only Charlie's still bleeding body on the ground and the shattered shell casing.
The burly men saw fear in each other's eyes.
"Wow! Where is everyone?!"
"The person has disappeared... Could it be... a ghost?!"
Chris panicked too. This group of people, who did all sorts of things like murder, arson, and drug trafficking, were all staunch atheists. And now this had suddenly happened to them.
Another dagger, another woman vanished on the spot.
In an instant, everyone's heart was in their throat.
"Boss... Boss, pinch me, I feel like I'm having a nightmare!" The burly man stretched his arm out in front of Chris.
Snap!
Chris forcefully opened his arms.
"What a load of nightmares, this is real."
"What do we do... Boss, it seems we've really encountered a ghost. Could it be that Asian girl we killed a few days ago? She died a really gruesome death. I heard that the female ghost from the Flower Kingdom is the most terrifying being in their country..."
"Brothers, grab your weapons! Even if we encounter a female ghost today, we'll riddle her with bullets!" Chris's eyes were filled with a bloodthirsty glint; this was a rather sinister matter.
However, his frequent visits to church to pray, his washing of his hands with holy water, and his carrying of a cross all gave him the courage to confront the unknown monster.
Just as everyone was trembling and regaining their confidence, an Eastern man in a white uniform suddenly appeared where the girl had disappeared.
His gaze was indifferent, as if he didn't care about the gun barrels.
"Don't just stand there, shoot!" Chris yelled at his men, and fired the first shot.
The bullets whizzed past, piercing the handsome man's body and leaving several small, translucent holes. Not a drop of blood was drawn, and the man seemed to feel no pain whatsoever.
He calmly ran quickly toward the nearest burly man, grabbed the man's head, and turned it 180 degrees like a steering wheel.
A muscular, burly man fell to the ground in a bizarre position with his head facing backward.
Then, the man suddenly produced an axe out of thin air and, facing the muzzle of the gun firing, chopped down on the other man's arms. The gun and the arm fell to the ground together, and blood gushed out like a burst dam.
"Aaaaaah!!! Help! This is really weird! This is really weird!"
They regretted it; they shouldn't have angered the Asian woman.
A moment later, a pretty woman appeared, wearing a bulletproof vest and a helmet.
Perhaps terror lowered their IQ and controlled their minds. The burly men were like newbies in Peacekeeper Elite, shooting all their guns at the shield held by Gu Mingyue from a distance of one room.
Gu Mingyue initially made a few feints, occasionally pausing behind the shield and tucking her head and feet in. But she soon realized it was pointless. The remaining burly men's hands were trembling as they gripped their guns, their pupils quivering and unfocused.
They stared blankly as Gu Mingyue charged over like a cheetah, reaping their heads with a machete, and then her pistol was taken from them.
It took Gu Mingyue some effort to find the black-toothed man who had tried to grope her earlier.
The man's wound hadn't been properly bandaged yet, and he was curled up under the bed, clutching his shoulder wound and rolling his eyes in pain.
Gu Mingyue bent down and saw the person's terrified face. She smiled slyly and politely said, "Hello!"
Then, he grabbed the man's ankle as he tried to escape, dragged him out, stepped on the back of his hand, and fired five shots into his fingers.
Terrifying screams erupted from the filthy, dark trading place.
Bright red blood splattered on the gray wall.
A burly man with two doors had given up on using his gun against the two terrifying monsters and leaned helplessly against the wall.
