Gu Mingyue smiled and reluctantly agreed, then waved goodbye to everyone.

He opened the door of the coal truck, let Little Wolf Xinghe get on, then sat in the driver's seat and drove the big machine toward his base.

Along the way, you can often see monsters preying on lone survivors.

The closer they got to the residential area, the louder the gunfire became.

Gu Mingyue saw several hundred people standing at the foot of the mountain, holding pistols, surrounding several crudely made artillery vehicles, detonating gas cylinders one after another near her base.

The surrounding buildings were bombed and were on the verge of collapse. Everywhere there were cement, steel bars and broken glass. Beautiful homes were reduced to ruins by the war.
