In her previous life, Lin Chuchu was framed by her aunt and uncle, lost her job, and spent her entire life working as their family's servant.
However, her father was a martyr, and her mot...
“Our printers are all imported from overseas. They are large, heavy, and inconvenient to carry, so I want to get a smaller printer.”
When it came to serious matters, Researcher Tian's expression became serious, and he lost his usual playful demeanor.
Lin Chuchu was taken aback for a moment, "That's perfect, my second major is computer science, we can study it together then."
“Sure, there are some technical aspects we don’t quite understand.”
The computer books were brought back from abroad by a mysterious person. I've only been using them for a short time, so it's really difficult to innovate on the existing foundation.
Seeing that the two of them didn't object to her participation, Lin Chuchu couldn't help but laugh.
She had thought that if the other party was the petty type, she would quietly be an assistant; if the other party treated her as one of their own, she would offer advice in certain professional fields.
Everyone says she's a walking encyclopedia, so at least she should be able to put her knowledge to practical use.
The next day, as Lin Chuchu was walking towards the laboratory after breakfast, she ran into Tian Hou and his companion.
I don't know what Researcher Hou did to offend Researcher Tian, because Tian completely ignored him and, unusually, didn't speak to him.
Lin Chuchu looked over curiously, but Researcher Hou just shrugged and said nothing.
As soon as they stepped out of the elevator, Researcher Tian made a point of greeting Lin Chuchu.
"Comrade Lin, come here quickly, let's not talk to that scheming guy."
Cunning?
Researcher Tian finally gained a clear understanding of Researcher Hou.
Lin Chuchu gave Researcher Hou a helpless look and quickly walked over.
Researcher Tian launched into a tirade against Lin Chuchu.
"Stay away from him from now on. That guy is awful; he took half of the snacks you gave me."
Researcher Tian said in a huff, giving a serious lecture.
Lin Chuchu nodded somewhat confusedly. Forget it, she didn't want to get involved in their lawsuit or their fight; she didn't want to be caught in the crossfire.
As for why I sided with Researcher Tian, it was simply because I didn't want to listen to his rambling anymore.
The three arrived at the office, where a disassembled printer was placed in the center.
Parts were scattered everywhere, and blueprints were placed nearby.
Fortunately, their office was quite large, and apart from desks, there was nothing else.
The two explained to Lin Chuchu in a low voice, helping her understand how the printer works.
Actually, she knew it herself without them telling her, because it was in the books in the space.
"There are two problems now. One is what can be used to replace this ink, and how can it be put into a small printer?"
"Another question is how to design the nozzle to be smaller without affecting work efficiency."
Don't let the printer get smaller, or its lifespan will also decrease.
That's not called upgrading, that's called messing with people.
Lin Chuchu took the items they mentioned in her hands, examined them repeatedly, and then opened the ink cartridge.
As she looked at the object in her hand, she imagined what printers would look like in the future.
This thing is currently expensive to manufacture, due to its high cost and the unknown nature of the technology.
If we can figure out the principles, it's still possible to create a new type of printer.
The three of them discussed it day and night, even disassembling the nozzle and scaling it down proportionally. Looking at those tiny blueprints, they replaced the inkwell with a sponge.
Researcher Tian wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"With our engineers' skills, can we really make it?"
Lin Chuchu and Researcher Hou shook their heads. Their research base had engineers, and their technical skills were quite advanced, but no one knew if they could actually make it.
Researcher Hou put the papers away. "We'll know once we send them over. Don't underestimate our engineers; they're very capable."
Researcher Tian curled his lip and retorted, "Do you even need to tell me? Of course I know."
Next comes the waiting. This thing is made very quickly, in less than an hour.
When the items were delivered to the trio's office, a group of researchers came in. They were all curious about whether the things the trio had researched were actually useful.
Lin Chuchu added the three colors of ink little by little to the ink cartridge. Now there were three colors of ink, and the printed result was only close to black.
After plugging up the small plastic plug on top, Lin Chuchu looked up at the other two and said solemnly.
"Okay, let's give it a try!"
The other two nodded. The people outside, seeing that they were about to start the experiment, walked in silently without making a sound to disturb them, their eyes fixed on the machine on the table.
The machine is small, without an outer casing, with partitions on the bottom and sides, and a slide on top to hold the ink cartridges.
Researcher Tian placed two sheets of white paper behind him, connected the computer, and began printing.
Click... Sizzle sizzle.
As the paper was pushed inside, everyone's heart was in their throat.
Everyone pushed forward, eager to be the first to see the printed document.
Lin Chuchu was pushed to the back. Looking at the back of the people in front of her, she thought it best to let it go, since she would see them sooner or later anyway.
Soon, the crackling sound stopped, and someone exclaimed excitedly, "It worked! Haha, it really worked!"
"Look, it's in color! Amazing! It can print on something so small."
Researcher Tian wanted to pick up the printed paper to take a look, but someone snatched it away.
The papers were flipped through by everyone, but Lin Chuchu couldn't find them for a long time.
Well, these people were really overjoyed, so she decided not to join in the snatching. But she also really wanted to see it.
Once the excitement subsided, Researcher Hou handed the paper to Lin Chuchu.
