The girl took a step forward and said, "Go ahead and hit me, try it."

As more and more people gathered around, Chu Chu and the others quickly pulled the two into the cafeteria.

Seeing that the girl had finally calmed down, Lin Chuchu poured her a glass of water.

"Thanks!"

The girl was a little embarrassed.

She quickly looked around and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that no one was watching her.

"I'm sorry, I was too impulsive."

Lin Chuchu shook her head. "Can you tell me how you and he met?"

The other person kept their head down and didn't know what to say.

Lin Chuchu wasn't in a hurry, since the guards would help her get her food. Lin Chuchu noticed that the girl also had a guard, so she was obviously also a researcher.

I've never really seen Comrade Tian hanging out with any girls. His only close friends are all men, among whom Researcher Hou is even known as Researcher Tian's love-hate relationship.

Lin Chuchu's lips twitched slightly, but she still gave a fair evaluation.

“I don’t think so. I haven’t seen anything special about him, and his behavior seems more like he has suffered some kind of psychological trauma, so it shouldn’t be him.”

This statement was not convincing at all. Du Lingling wanted to say something more, but just then their bodyguards returned, so she had no choice but to lower her head and eat.

Because they were preoccupied with something, the two ate absentmindedly.

Du Lingling left first, giving Researcher Tian a fierce glare before she left.

Researcher Tian looked completely bewildered.

After everyone left, Researcher Tian immediately moved closer to Lin Chuchu, and the others followed suit.

Researcher Tian still looked completely bewildered.

Lin Chuchu and her bodyguards looked at him as if he were a scumbag.

"Why are you all staring at me like that? I..."

"Her surname is Du, and her name is Du Lingling..."

Lin Chuchu couldn't be bothered to look at his stupid expression, so she still said Du Lingling's name.

"Du... Holy crap... How did she get here?"

After saying that, he suddenly jumped up as if he had been pricked in the butt with a needle.

He finally remembered who Du Lingling was, and he really felt bad for her, having stood her up on their engagement day.

He took a deep breath, his heart pounding, with only one thought in his mind: he was going to die.

"Well, I'm leaving now, I won't wait for you."

After saying that, he closed the lunchbox, didn't even wash it, and hurriedly left the cafeteria.
