Lin Chuchu took leave half a month after she returned. She was so busy every day that she barely had time to breathe, but thankfully she didn't have to work overtime.

The thief didn't expect to run into a tough opponent today; he lay on the ground for a long time without being able to get up.

Team Leader Qin wanted to retreat and leave quickly, since Lin Chuchu and Xiao Lu were waiting for him.

The thief, not wanting to go to jail, suddenly got up and darted towards the main road while the crowd was beating him.

Lin Chuchu felt pain for him just looking at him.

One of the thief's legs was pinned down to prevent him from struggling.

Lin Chuchu looked at Mu Chen in surprise, "Brother Chen?"

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Mu Chen was startled and immediately looked up at Lin Chuchu.

"Chuchu? What are you doing here?"

While talking to Lin Chuchu, he took out handcuffs and cuffed the thief's hands.

Lin Chuchu quickly stepped forward, Mu Chen was wearing a police uniform, and two colleagues followed behind him.

"We were just passing by when we heard someone shouting 'Stop thief!'"

Seeing the appearance of the three people, Mu Chen knew that the thief in front of him had been subdued by Captain Qin.

Mu Chen nodded to Captain Qin and arrested the man. The thief's face was bruised, his nose was crooked, two front teeth were knocked out, and his mouth was full of blood.

However, no one cared about his injuries. Mu Chen's colleague stepped forward, grabbed the thief's arm, and glanced at Lin Chuchu curiously.

"Captain, is this your wife? Let's take her back, and you can talk to her."

They arrived after receiving a report; they happened to be patrolling nearby, so they got there quickly.

Just as Lin Chuchu was about to tell Mu Chen to go ahead and get busy, she saw Mu Chen nod.

"Okay, I'll be back in ten minutes."

After saying that, he said to Captain Qin, "I'd like you to go with them and give a statement."

Seeing that Captain Qin nodded and everyone dispersed, Mu Chen took Lin Chuchu's hand and walked to a secluded place. Xiao Lu consciously did not follow.

Mu Chen asked directly, "Why are you back at this time? How many days off did you take? How many days can you stay?"

Upon hearing this, Lin Chuchu smiled and said, "I went on a mission and was given a month's leave by the higher-ups."

Mu Chen frowned. Such a long vacation must mean the mission is not simple.
