In her previous life, Lin Chuchu was framed by her aunt and uncle, lost her job, and spent her entire life working as their family's servant.
However, her father was a martyr, and her mot...
What happened next made Lin Chuchu's eyes widen in horror.
The space has an automatic identification function. Some corpses wearing old-fashioned combat uniforms were deemed not worth including in the space and were all spat out.
The corpses suddenly appeared in mid-air and slowly fell to the seabed. Most of these corpses were badly damaged; some were killed by bombs before they died, while others were eaten by fish after they died.
The whole scene was like something out of a horror movie; it was terrifying.
Not to mention Lin Chuchu, even the grown men like Captain Qin all shuddered.
Some bodies fell to the seabed, while others drifted away with the ocean currents.
Team Leader Qin tugged at Lin Chuchu's arm, signaling her to come with them.
Lin Chuchu snapped out of her daze, closed her eyes, carefully swam around the skeletons, and headed toward another shipwreck.
Lin Chuchu didn't have to swim on her own at all; someone pulled her forward, and someone else controlled the height at which she floated.
Having learned from her experience recovering the first sunken ship, Lin Chuchu was no longer afraid of encountering terrifying scenes again.
The second shipwreck was not as intact as the first; only half of it remained, and the stern had disappeared.
The remaining two are quite far away, in two different directions. Some people couldn't hold on any longer and decided to go out to sea to rest for a while.
When I went up, luckily someone was there to help me, otherwise it would have taken a lot of effort to swim up.
Once aboard the boat, Lin Chuchu felt as if all her strength had vanished, and she didn't want to move at all.
If you can get this tired without even having to exert yourself underwater, the others are probably in no better shape, all of them closing their eyes to rest.
After resting for a while, Lin Chuchu took out some food and drinks from her space so that everyone could replenish their sugar and water.
Next came the fruit. Lin Chuchu munched on an apple before she felt less sore and weak.
"Captain Qin, when are we going to dive into the sea again?"
Lin Chuchu couldn't help but ask, having collected two sunken ships, which were also the sunken ships they were looking for, the mission could actually be considered complete at this point.
But now that they had seen other shipwrecks, they didn't want to let them go.
After thinking for a moment, Captain Qin said, "If you're well rested after 2 PM, we'll go back into the sea this afternoon."
He didn't want to waste any time; if they could complete the mission successfully today, they would head back immediately.
It's just past 10 a.m., and there are still four hours until 2 p.m., which should be enough time to rest.
Lin Chuchu closed her eyes to rest, hoping to get some sleep to replenish her energy.
After everyone finished eating, they lay down one after another to rest.
Lin Chuchu was woken up at 2 p.m., which was the hottest time of the day.
However, the seawater wasn't particularly cold, making it perfect for diving.
Everyone put on their diving suits and encouraged each other.
"Go, Sister Chuchu! I believe you can do it!"
Xiao Lu raised his little fist to cheer Lin Chuchu on.
Lin Chuchu smiled at her, "Okay!"
This time, Qin and his team put pistols in waterproof bags, one for each of them.
If they're fast enough, they can fire two shots.
In case of any danger, at least it can save your life.
They quickly reached the bottom of the water, and the third shipwreck was recovered smoothly. Next up was the fourth.
As they swam up to each other, Lin Chuchu suddenly felt a pang of panic and grabbed Captain Qin's arm.
When the other person looks over, he shakes his head and waves his hands frantically.
He then pointed behind him, signaling everyone to step back.
You can't talk in the water, but luckily these hand gestures are quite simple, and Team Leader Qin immediately understood.
They retreated with their men, holding the bags containing pistols in their hands, staring at the sunken ship before them.
Lin Chuchu wasn't sure what danger it was, but her intuition told her to back away and not get any closer.
After waiting for a while, a snake suddenly swam out of a broken window.
The snake was very long and large, with eyes that glowed green. It was fat and bloated, probably from something it had eaten.
The moment it emerged, it charged directly towards Team Leader Qin and his group.
Team Leader Qin immediately stepped in front of Lin Chuchu, and then, with a muffled bang, someone fired a shot.
The bullet pierced through the bulletproof bag and shot towards the snake.
Then came the second shot.
Because they had calculated the snake's path, they shot it in the eye with one shot and in the mouth with the other.
The snake curled up in pain, and the water around it was churned up.
No one dared to linger, and they retreated continuously, while remaining wary of the snake charging at them again.
Everyone stared intently, and sure enough, they saw the snake's head emerge from the turbulent water and fly rapidly toward the soldiers.
Two more gunshots rang out, and the sea serpent finally stopped moving. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
The water is, after all, a forbidden zone for humans, offering no advantage in combat, and with Lin Chuchu as a hindrance, they couldn't fight with their full strength.
Fortunately, the sea serpent is dead; surely they won't encounter a second one?
The group became much more cautious, staying away from the windows of the sunken ship. They weren't going in to explore; all they needed to do was for Lin Chuchu to touch the hull and store the ship back into their spatial storage.
The rest went relatively smoothly, because the ship was quite old, so there were only three corpses inside.
The mission was finally completed, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Lin Chuchu felt much more relaxed.
Soon, they swam to the surface. Lin Chuchu took out her device and began to determine the coordinates; it was time for them to go back.
Lin Chuchu packed away all her diving gear and changed her diving suit into a life jacket.
They're finally heading back. Once they're back in international waters and on the ship, they'll be safe.
The boat sped along, quickly traversing the sea, and Lin Chuchu smelled the salty sea breeze.
