Lin Chuchu and Xiao Lu were fighting fiercely inside the base when Qin and the others outside felt the ground shaking and immediately began searching for the base entrance.

They moved quickly and finally found the entrance. The moment the entrance was blown open, they immediately encountered resistance.

There were many people inside, and they were carrying guns and ammunition.

A researcher from Japan held a test subject in front of him and pointed a gun at the subject's head.

In that instant, the hostage he was holding turned around and grabbed the other person's neck, shoving him backward with all his might.

In the ensuing chaos, the other party fired a shot, the bullet hitting the man's stomach. But the man, like a madman, gripped his neck tightly, blood flowing from his mouth, yet a smile lingered on his lips.

"I'll fight you to the death for a better life."

At that moment, he wasn't thinking about living; he wanted to fight the other person to the death.

Even if I die, I'll take someone down with me.

When the other party fired a second shot, Lin Chuchu rushed forward and shot the man dead with a single shot.

The kidnapped man was spitting blood and was clearly not going to survive.

The man looked at Lin Chuchu and laughed, "I...I'm not a coward...I killed a little devil...Haha, my life has been worth it..."

After uttering his last words, the man died.

Lin Chuchu was in a bad mood. If it weren't for these beasts, these people who were captured would definitely be with their families, with wives and children, jobs, and happy days ahead of them.

Several people fell into a coma. Xiao Lu gave the injured people some basic first aid, and then went to Lin Chuchu's side.

"Sister Chuchu, do you think these poisonous gases might seep into the skin upon contact with the body?"

The two sat inside the glass enclosure, watching helplessly as the poisonous gas outside increased until visibility was reduced to only a few meters around them.

They weren't sure how well the glass dome was sealed, or whether toxic gas could get in, but since it was being used by Japanese people for human experiments, it should be able to withstand it, right?

Lin Chuchu felt that her space was still incomplete, and she would get some better-sealed protective suits next time.

Gunshots could be heard from time to time, but the sound was muffled, just a dull thud.

Then the ground beneath my feet trembled, then quickly returned to calm, and even the gunshots disappeared.

It was eerily quiet all around.

"Sister Chuchu, did we win?"

Xiao Lu asked nervously.

Lin Chuchu said with a determined look, "We will win, we will definitely win."

How could Chinese soldiers possibly lose to Japanese spies? They would definitely win.

At this moment, the battle ended, and Qin's arm was also wounded. Any remaining enemies could only lie on the ground groaning, having lost their fighting ability.
