In her previous life, Lin Chuchu was framed by her aunt and uncle, lost her job, and spent her entire life working as their family's servant.
However, her father was a martyr, and her mot...
After putting their luggage away, the group went to school together, and some classmates led them to the classroom.
Six students were divided into one classroom. This class seemed to be specially prepared for students studying abroad. There were more than forty people in the classroom, half of whom were foreigners.
Upon seeing the six people, the air seemed to freeze for a moment.
"What country are they from? Their clothes are so strange."
"Are they Chinese? I heard their place is very underdeveloped."
Lin Chuchu and the others were wearing clothes that were rare to see in China, especially Lin Chuchu's clothes, but they were still quite different from those worn by foreigners.
An Asian woman snorted coldly, raised her chin high, looked down at Lin Chuchu with her nostrils flared, and drooped her eyelids.
"Why are you so curious? They're just a few people from China. I heard that the salary in China is only a few yuan, not even a dollar."
Taking advantage of being abroad, the Asian woman spoke English, assuming that Lin Chuchu and the others couldn't understand her, so they acted with impunity.
Liu Jiarui was so angry that she was about to go forward to argue, but Lin Chuchu grabbed her arm.
Lin Chuchu smiled and asked the Asian woman.
"Excuse me, miss, what country are you from?"
His English was extremely fluent.
Seeing that Lin Chuchu was very polite to her, she looked smug.
"I am from Korea!"
Although her country was not wealthy, it was much better than the China she remembered.
Lin Chuchu nodded, still smiling. "I understand. But your country's news is really outdated. You should pay more attention to international news. China is very different now than before."
Lin Chuchu pointed to the electric fan in the classroom.
"This is made in our country."
The Korean woman was stunned for a moment, then said in a sharp voice, "You're lying! How could that be? How could your China possibly make something like this? Your China is so shameless, just attaching things made by others to your own people."
This is something made in the United States, yes, that must be it.
The American people present looked grim; this fan was indeed made in China.
Lin Chuchu said with a smile, "You can lift up the fan, and at the very bottom, the English name of China is engraved."
The disbelieving Korean woman immediately walked over to the fan, lifted it up, and sure enough, saw the Chinese characters at the bottom.
The woman's face turned as red as a pig's liver.
How embarrassing! It's actually true.
Lin Chuchu continued to tease her, "Besides fans, refrigerators, soy milk makers, televisions, and even furniture popular in the United States were all brought from China. What does South Korea have in the United States? Let us broaden our horizons."
Lin Chuchu spoke very slowly, but every word was piercing.
The Korean woman was pale and looked like she was about to faint.
But there was no one around; everyone kept their distance from her.
The Korean woman ran away and missed class. The teacher who came in after her seemed not to notice and started the lesson immediately.
This class was a public lesson, so we had to attend. The teacher spoke very fast, and out of the six students, everyone except Lin Chuchu struggled to understand.
"Oh no! What should I do? I don't understand what the teacher is saying. I feel like the teacher is doing it on purpose, deliberately making it so that we can't understand."
Liu Jiarui complained to Lin Chuchu in a low voice, while the other male classmates also had miserable faces.
Lin Chuchu thought for a moment, "When we get back, I'll translate a copy for you based on their textbooks, and you can review it in advance."
They came here to learn; if they can't learn anything, wouldn't they be letting down the country that nurtured them?
"Okay, thank you, Chuchu."
Everyone expressed their gratitude.
Finally, it was noon, and the group went to eat.
The food was nothing to surprise them.
I ate another hamburger.
Liu Jiarui said helplessly, "If I eat like this every day, I'll lose more than ten pounds."
Lin Chuchu was helpless, but she had no choice but to eat.
It wasn't until after 3 p.m. that the day's classes ended, and everyone was free to do as they pleased. Lin Chuchu and Liu Jiarui went to the library.
When I arrived, I found my classmate arguing with the librarian.
"Why can't we take the books out? We're all students."
The administrator, expressionless, said, "I'm sorry, but to prevent books from being taken away or lost, school rules prohibit lending them out."
There's a hidden meaning in their words; they're implying they're thieves.
The two quickly stepped forward and pulled their classmate away.
"Excuse me, sir, we are studying in the library and will not take it out."
Lin Chuchu said with a smile.
After pulling all her classmates away, Lin Chuchu's smile vanished.
"Don't get into arguments with others here. People in America don't have guns, so be careful they might come looking for you at night."
Several people gasped in shock. "They actually carry guns with them? Doesn't their government care?"
"What do you care? They value freedom. If they die in the middle of the night, it's just bad luck for you."
Lin Chuchu lowered her voice to a whisper; this wasn't meant to scare them, it was the truth.
Everyone was terrified. In China, there's at least a reason to kill someone. But here, does that mean you can just shoot anyone you don't like?
Seeing that they already understood the importance of things, Lin Chuchu found a bookshelf.
The books were arranged haphazardly, without any clear order, and many only had the top or bottom half of their contents.
Looking at the books, Lin Chuchu had an idea. What if she used her spatial ability to photograph each page of the books and then copied them down when she got back?
Lin Chuchu's heart stirred, and she immediately began to act.
Lin Chuchu even saw a book on management, computers, design, and even a book on Western medicine.
