Chapter 25: The Plan Begins

After finishing her meal, Ye Ran encouraged herself before carrying her things to find Lu Yi.

As Ye Ran walked outside the educated youth settlement, she hesitated. Would it be inappropriate to just go in like this?

Just then, a person came out of the educated youth settlement. The person looked at Ye Ran in surprise and said, "Isn't this Comrade Ye? What brings you here?"

"Oh, it's Peng, the educated youth! I'd like to look for Lu Yi, the educated youth. Is he here?"

Hearing Ye Ran's reply, Peng Lin was visibly disappointed. "Looking for Lu Yi again? He's here. I'll call him for you."

“Then we might never find out.” Lu Yi calmly flipped through the book, ignoring Peng Lin’s antics.

"Are you even speaking human language?! Don't you want to know which girl came looking for you?"

"No, I'm not interested." Lu Yi remained unmoved, not even bothering to move his buttocks.

"Oh, really? Then I'll let her go back first. Poor village beauty of Willow Leaf Village! Why did she have to come to you of all people!"

"How can you, a blockhead who doesn't know how to cherish women, have the tender heart of a tough guy like me! You must be bewitched!" Peng Lin said sarcastically, strongly expressing his sourness.

He was just about to say a few more words to Lu Yi to stop disturbing his love life when he noticed that the person who had been sitting calmly like a mountain had been blown away like a gust of wind.

Peng Lin was dumbfounded. What was going on?

When Lu Yi came out of the educated youth settlement, Ye Ran had already been waiting for a while. Looking at the person who rushed out, Ye Ran found it a little funny, "Why are you in such a hurry?"
