"Boss, another bottle, please." Before long, the two brothers finished a bottle of wine, and Wu Yucheng shouted for more.

The restaurant owner came in, and Sheng Xiping winked at him, signaling the owner not to worry about it. The owner glanced at him, then quietly turned and left.

"Alright, that's enough for now. Don't you know what day it is? The owner should be closing up for the day. Let's go back." Sheng Xiping stood up and went to help Wu Yucheng.

"Brother, have a drink with me, just a little more."

Wu Yucheng drank on an empty stomach and drank too quickly. At this point, the alcohol was clearly taking effect, and he started to act unreasonably.

"No, let's go back and rest first. I'm a little worried about Lao Wu living upstairs by himself."

A little wine is good for the mood, but drunkenness is bad for the body. Sheng Xiping could tell that Wu Yucheng was in a bad mood today.

Wu Yucheng drank most of that bottle of wine. When he went outside, the wind blew on him, and the alcohol really got to him. He started singing at the top of his lungs in the street.

Passersby, seeing this, all kept their distance, and no one dared to provoke the drunkard.

Sheng Xiping looked up at the sky speechlessly, sighed deeply, and stepped forward to support the swaying Wu Yucheng.

"Alright, stop howling like a banshee, or you'll scare the people around you. Let's go back and get some rest."

And so, Sheng Xiping helped Wu Yucheng and hurried back to the company. As they went upstairs, Wu Yucheng muttered something incoherently.

Sheng Xiping only clearly heard one sentence: "Brother, wouldn't it be better if our two families weren't related?"

"What the hell? What nonsense are you talking about?" Sheng Xiping frowned. What kind of drunken tantrum was this kid causing?

Wu Yucheng did not answer, and just then they arrived at their residence.

Sheng Xiping opened the door for Wu Yucheng, helped him into the house to rest, and then went back to his own room to wash up and go to bed.

The next day at the company, Sheng Xiping made an excuse to arrange for Jiang Mingqi and several other company employees to go on a business trip to Gangcheng.

This trip will take at least a week round trip. Fortunately, by the time they returned, Sheng Xiping had already taken his sister home.

On January 23rd, the third day of the twelfth lunar month, Sheng Xiping, Sheng Yunfei, and Wu Yucheng flew directly to the capital.

Normally, once the plane lands, everyone should go home and find their own mothers, but for some reason, Wu Yucheng insisted on going to Sheng Xikang's place first.

He spoke so grandly, yet he hadn't even gone to see his sister who was pregnant.

He bought a lot of things from the port city for his girlfriend, so he should send them over first.

Unable to argue with Wu Yucheng, Sheng Xiping and Wu Yucheng took a taxi straight to Sheng Xikang's residence in Xicheng.

"Dad, Mom, we're back!" Sheng Xiping called out as soon as he entered the courtyard.

Sheng Liancheng and Zhang Shuzhen were making dumplings inside when their daughter and son came home. They couldn't think of anything to cook, and felt that nothing was more comforting than a hot meal of dumplings.

"Oh, Yucheng is back too? Come on in and warm up."

Your dad and I are making dumplings. I made several kinds of fillings today, including three kinds of seafood, pork and cabbage, and lamb and radish. You can eat whichever you like.

"I have to say, the capital city has a much wider variety of dishes than we have in Northeast China," Zhang Shuzhen said with a smile, inviting everyone into the house.

Sure enough, as soon as they entered the house, they smelled a very strong aroma of dumpling filling. Wu Yucheng sniffed and gave Zhang Shuzhen a thumbs up.

"I can tell just by the smell that Auntie's filling-making skills are superb. These dumplings will definitely be delicious tonight."

"Right? Then stay and have dumplings with us tonight, I guarantee you'll like them." Zhang Shuzhen was overjoyed and insisted that Wu Yucheng stay for dinner.

Wu Yucheng readily agreed.

Then, all three of them took off their coats, washed their hands, and came over to help make dumplings.

We had just finished wrapping dumplings here when Sheng Xitai arrived. With so many people working together, how could the dumplings not be wrapped quickly? In no time, a tray of dumplings with each of the three fillings was wrapped.

Around five o'clock, Sheng Xikang and Wu Yuhua went home together after get off work. When they saw Wu Yucheng, the couple were both stunned.

They knew beforehand that Sheng Xiping and his sister would be home today, but why was Wu Yucheng here? Shouldn't he be home?

"Second Brother, did you go home and then come back, or did you not go home at all?" Wu Yuhua couldn't help but ask.

"Of course I didn't go home. I came here as soon as I got off the plane, wanting to see you first."

"My aunt said she'd be having dumplings tonight, so I'm planning to have some here before heading home," Wu Yucheng said with a grin.

"Hehe, you're afraid to go home because you're afraid our grandpa will beat you, right?"

"I heard that Grandpa said you absolutely must bring a partner home for Chinese New Year this year, or he'll disown you."

Wu Yuhua looked at her second brother and said with a half-smile.

Wu Yucheng looked embarrassed. "Don't talk nonsense. Is your brother the kind of person who's afraid of trouble? Besides, would our grandpa really abandon me?"

"Third and fourth brothers are married, and fifth brother has a girlfriend, but you, the second brother, are still single."

My mom also said that if she has to force you to go on a blind date when you come back for Chinese New Year this year, she will make you go.

"No matter what kind of person you find, you must make sure you settle down and get married." Wu Yuhua looked at her brother and kindly reminded him.

Upon hearing this, Wu Yucheng's expression changed drastically.
