Chapter 520 Injury

Sheng Xinhua finally realized what was happening and knew he was in the wrong, so he gritted his teeth and endured the pain until he finally finished the injection.

Sheng Xinyu came forward, helped his brother pull up his pants, took the oral medication and put it in his pocket, and then the children helped Sheng Xinhua walk out.

"Grandpa, Auntie, could you please not tell my mom and dad about what happened today?" Sheng Xinhua asked, still unwilling to give up, before leaving the house.

"You're dreaming. Do you think we'd let you continue causing trouble if we didn't tell your parents?"

"You little brat, you don't know your place! You dare mess with anything. If I don't teach you a lesson, what will you do in the future?"

The doctor didn't give Sheng Xinhua a friendly look and scolded him a couple more times.

Sheng Xinhua resigned himself to his fate and was dejectedly helped out of the hospital by his friends.

Songlin Hospital and No. 1 Middle School face each other across the road, and it's also very close to Sheng Xinhua's home.

The children helped Sheng Xinhua into the Sheng family's gate, but they didn't dare to go any further inside.

"Xinhua, Xinyu, well, we won't see you two inside. Take your time going inside and get some rest at home."

The children are terrified of being blamed for causing such a big mess today, and they dare not even step into the Sheng family's house.

Sheng Xinyu hurriedly supported his older brother and nodded to those people.

"Okay, thank you so much. I'm so grateful for your help today. Let's hang out together again in a few days when my brother is feeling better."

And so, the children turned and left, while Sheng Xinyu struggled to help Sheng Xinhua walk toward the front yard.

At that moment, Aunt Li was preparing food in the kitchen and didn't pay much attention to the outside world.

Sheng Xinyu helped the swaying Sheng Xinhua back to the west room, whereupon Sheng Xinhua slumped onto the kang (a heated brick bed), his body tilted, and he collapsed.

The child lost a lot of blood today. There were many people around, but he managed to grit his teeth and hold on. Now that he's home, he's relaxed and has fainted.

"Grandma Li, come quick! My brother... he's not moving!" Sheng Xinyu was terrified and burst into tears.

Aunt Li was preparing lunch in the kitchen when she heard Sheng Xinyu crying in the west room, which sounded ominous. She quickly threw down the kitchen knife and ran into the house.

Upon closer inspection, Sheng Xinhua was found lying motionless with half his body on the kang (a heated brick bed), his legs dangling over the edge.

Aunt Li hurried over and gently patted Sheng Xinhua's cheek, "Xinhua, Xinhua?"

Aunt Li called out to Sheng Xinhua three times, but he didn't respond.

Startled, Aunt Li quickly placed her hand under Sheng Xinhua's nose and checked that he was still breathing. She then quickly pinched his philtrum with her thumb.

After a while, Sheng Xinhua groaned and gradually woke up. Aunt Li breathed a sigh of relief when she saw this.

"What, what's going on?"

Aunt Li was old and easily frightened; her heart was pounding and her hands were trembling.

"My brother injured his big finger and bled a lot. He fainted as soon as he came in." Knowing he couldn't hide it any longer, Sheng Xinyu had no choice but to tell the truth.

When Aunt Li heard this, she was furious, but since she was an outsider, she couldn't scold or beat the child, no matter how angry she was.

"You, you, why are you so naughty?"

"You've hurt your hand, but what if you hurt somewhere else and end up with a lifelong disability? How am I supposed to explain that to your parents?"

Aunt Li was so anxious that she burst into tears.

"Grandma, don't cry. I promise I won't be naughty again, really."

Sheng Xinhua may be mischievous, but he's not a scoundrel, and he's very respectful to his elders.

Seeing that Aunt Li was crying, Sheng Xinhua panicked and quickly admitted his mistake, promising never to cause trouble again.

Aunt Li sighed, wiped away her tears, turned around and went to the kitchen to make Sheng Xinhua a cup of brown sugar water.

"Drink the brown sugar water quickly to replenish your energy. I'll boil some jujube water for you later."

Why are you such a naughty child?

Just as Sheng Xinhua finished drinking his brown sugar water, he heard hurried footsteps outside. Then, Zhou Qinglan rushed into the house carrying a tree branch.

"Sheng Xinhua, I'll teach you a lesson you won't forget. I'm going to beat you to death today."

As she spoke, Zhou Qinglan swung a tree branch, ignoring everything else, and began to whip Sheng Xinhua, who was lying on the kang (a heated brick bed).

Every year at the end of September, Songlin High School holds a track and field meet. After the meet ends, students can have a few days off for the National Day holiday.

This year's sports meet will be held on a Saturday and Sunday.

This morning, Zhou Qinglan was watching her class compete when a colleague came over and said that someone had called looking for her.

Zhou Qinglan found it strange and quickly answered the phone. She then learned that it was Dr. Hao from Songlin Hospital calling.

They said that Sheng Xinhua and Sheng Xinyu had just gone to the hospital. Sheng Xinhua injured his right thumb and needed two stitches.

The reason was that Sheng Xinhua was secretly making a musket, and when he fired it, he blew his own hand out.

Upon hearing this, Zhou Qinglan was both angry and anxious. After hanging up the phone, she borrowed another teacher's bicycle and hurriedly rode back.

As Zhou Qinglan entered the house, she casually picked up a tree branch, broke off the excess part with her hand, and carried it inside.

He walked in and started hitting me without saying a word, wanting to vent his anger first.

Sheng Xinhua was so badly beaten by Zhou Qinglan that he rolled around on the kang (a heated brick bed) in pain.

When Aunt Li saw this, she thought, "This is outrageous!" She quickly stepped forward and reached out to stop them.

"Oh dear, Qinglan, how can you hit a child like that?"

He knows he was wrong, and he just promised me that he would never do it again.

The child was injured and lost a lot of blood; he was unconscious just now. I barely managed to wake him up by pinching him. If you hit him again, what if you hurt him even more?

With Aunt Li stopping her, Zhou Qinglan couldn't continue hitting the child. She simply put one hand on her hip, held a tree branch in the other, and pointed at Sheng Xinhua on the kang (a heated brick bed).
