"What did you say?" Chen Xiaofang retorted to Qi Ran, "Are you jealous of me? Jealous that I'm younger and prettier than you, while you're just a sallow-faced, emaciated old woman!"

She has always been most intolerant of others commenting on her appearance, especially now that Qi Ran's words to her are a veiled criticism of the previous incident.

Qi Ran was shocked that Chen Xiaofang, who had betrayed her, was now so brazenly insulting her. Her anger surged to its peak: "Chen Xiaofang, I've finally seen through you! So this is what you and Shen Qianqian were saying behind my back?"

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Chen Xiaofang was completely confused. She clearly hadn't done anything with Shen Qianqian.
