The waves slowly submerged the beach and then receded back into the sea.

The seashells washed ashore shimmered with iridescent colors in the sunlight.

"Second sister, this is pretty. Let's pick it up and have you make a wind chime for us." Jiaojiao smiled, her eyes curving like crescent moons, revealing a row of baby teeth.

Wei Caixia gripped the net tightly and turned to look in the direction of the sound.

Jiaojiao picked up the seashell and threw it into the small bucket.

She was about to walk to the other side when she suddenly squatted down, blinked her big eyes, and looked at a spot where bubbles were constantly rising.

Xiaoxiao squatted down next to her. "What's wrong?"

"Second sister, there might be fish here." Jiaojiao pursed her lips, looking conflicted.

The shallow waves surged up again, but didn't reach their feet.

Wei Caixia glanced at them, then walked a few steps into the sea until the waves reached her ankles before stopping.

"Let's all dig together, and if we find any fish, we'll go home together and my sister will fry them in oil," Jiaojiao said, waving to her friends.

She didn't bring a small shovel, but several of her companions did.

"Jiaojiao, you can't lie to us, we want to eat fried fish slices..."

Xiaoxiao raised an eyebrow and stepped aside to let them dig.

Jiaojiao looked up and clapped her hands. "Then we need to find the fish."

The group chattered amongst themselves, dug a small hole, and then spotted the fish's tail.

They became even more motivated, using both their hands and shovels.

Xiaoxiao didn't dare to leave, so she stood there watching the group and even adjusted her younger sister's hat.

"What heavy rain..." Jiaojiao immediately stepped forward to grab the fish's tail.

In just a few seconds, the fish turned its head, opened its mouth, and bit Jiaojiao's hand, refusing to let go.

"ah……"

Jiaojiao screamed, tears streaming down her face from the pain.

Everyone around was terrified and ran away...
