After get off work, Mingyao was packing her things when her phone buzzed.

She glanced at the comments on her phone; it was a WeChat message from Pei Siyu.

Pei Siyu: [Wait for me.]

The sun must have risen in the west! Pei Siyu actually took the initiative to send her a message!

Mingyao looked at her phone screen and laughed, when Ni An's voice suddenly exploded in her ear.

"Sister Su, is this a message from your husband?"

Mingyao was startled and quickly turned off the screen. She looked at Ni An, who had suddenly appeared behind her, and said, "How come you walk so quietly? You almost scared me to death."

I wonder if Ni An saw the screen. I hope she doesn't discover Pei Siyu's true identity!

Ni An paused slightly, then tugged at the corner of her lips and said in a joking tone, "Sister Su, do you have any secrets on your phone? Why are you so wary of me?"

Mingyao sighed, put away her phone, and then said, "There are no secrets."

"I'll go now, that's all for now."

She picked up her bag and strode out.

Ni An stood frozen in place, watching Ming Yao's retreating figure, a hint of loneliness flashing in her eyes.

She thought she and Mingyao had a good relationship, but she didn't expect that in Mingyao's heart she was still an outsider.

A person's subconscious actions don't lie! Mingyao's guardedness clearly shows she doesn't consider her one of her own.

Ni An was in a bad mood and sent a message to Lin Bin for comfort.

Lin Bin: [Honey, you're so naive. Su Xueya doesn't consider you a friend at all.]

Ni An: [But... Sister Su helped me a lot.]

Lin Bin: [Honey, I know you and Su Xueya are close. But your sincerity is worthless in her eyes. She not only tries to drive a wedge between us, but she also won't let you look at her phone.]

Lin Bin: [It's just a WeChat chat. If it's not something you're ashamed of, why won't you be allowed to see it?]

Ni An stared at the message Lin Bin sent, and her heart wavered again.

After leaving the company, Mingyao replied to Pei Siyu's message with a big smile.

She planned to wait for Pei Siyu on a secluded side road, some distance from the company.

While waiting at a traffic light at an intersection, the roar of a motorcycle came from behind me.

Mingyao's heart skipped a beat, and a bad premonition arose spontaneously.

Please, please don't let it be Pei Zhao.

Mingyao pretended not to hear anything, and when the green light came on, she gritted her teeth and walked forward.

After crossing the road, Mingyao breathed a sigh of relief when Pei Zhao's bright voice came from behind her.

She gripped her backpack tightly, turned her head without looking back, and walked forward as fast as she could.

Pei Zhao rode his motorcycle, chasing after her relentlessly.

When they reached an intersection, Pei Zhao simply walked past Ming Yao.

He stared at Mingyao, then with a cool, fishtail swing, he imposingly parked his motorcycle in front of her, blocking her path.

Mingyao's expression froze, and she inwardly cursed her bad luck.

I don't usually run into Pei Zhao, why is it such a bad coincidence today?

Pei Zhao took off his helmet, casually smoothed his messy blue hair, and looked at Ming Yao with dissatisfaction, "Sister Su, why didn't you answer me when I called you?"

He got off the motorcycle, stared intently at Mingyao, and asked, "Are you deliberately ignoring me?"

Mingyao forced a smile and said, "How could that be?"

Can she say yes?

"Mr. Pei, is there anything I can help you with?"

He actually chased her for half a block!

After fixing his bangs, Pei Zhao asked with a smile, "Do you have time tonight?"

"I don't have time, I already have an appointment."

Mingyao choked, staring at Pei Zhao in astonishment, and asked blankly, "What?"

“No.” His tone was cold and stern, brooking no argument.

"All right."

After walking a short distance, Mingyao turned around and slowed down when she realized that Pei Zhao was not following.

Fortunately, they didn't chase after us.

Mingyao glanced at Pei Siyu's WeChat again, but no messages had been sent.

She looked around and decided to walk down another street.

"Su Xueya!"

Xia Kexing's angry voice suddenly came, and Mingyao turned her head.

Xia Kexing walked over angrily, her eyes piercing like knives.

Mingyao asked in confusion, "Is something the matter?"

"Su Xueya, how shameless you are!"
