Ming Yao marries into the Pei family in place of her sister, who has a messy private life, and becomes pregnant with that man's child.
As a result, her child is snatched away, her mother ...
Why do you want to kill them all?
Why did you frame me like this?!
Ni An couldn't understand it, so she frantically grabbed whatever was on the ground and smashed it against the wall.
The thumping sounds did nothing to ease her anger and anxiety; Ni An contemplated suicide.
Everything she experienced from childhood to adulthood has been exposed online, and everyone is using the most vile language to insult her.
Ni An cried uncontrollably; she became a pariah, and her life was completely ruined.
What's the point of living?
Ni An stopped crying, and her angry eyes suddenly became blank.
She stared blankly at her vibrating phone and murmured, "Su Xueya, aren't you just trying to drive me to my death?"
"Fine, I'll die!"
"I'm going to die!"
Ni An stood up abruptly and staggered towards the balcony.
She was barefoot, stepping on the balcony floor.
A bone-chilling coolness arises spontaneously from the soles of the feet, like an electric current coursing through the body.
Ni An stood on the balcony like a stick, her eyes gazing darkly at the gloomy sky.
A chilling autumn wind swept in, striking my tear-streaked face with a chilling cold.
Ni An, dressed in a thin white knitted dress, stood on the edge of the balcony, expressionless as she looked down at the bustling yet cold city center.
In a daze, she seemed to see the Haichang branch office through the cold and colorless cement building.
Everything is ruined!
"Su Xueya, wouldn't it be better if I just died?"
She laughed mockingly, and as she laughed, tears began to fall.
"Boom!"
A deafening roar erupted from the layers of dark clouds, followed by a blinding light that shone from the thick black clouds, illuminating the dim surroundings.
This glimmer of light vanished in an instant, just like Su Xueya, disappearing into this utterly terrible world with only a sliver of beauty.
Ni An closed her eyes with a look of resignation and slowly leaned forward.
Even as she lay dying, the wind remained sharp, like a knife, as if it wanted to scrape the flesh off her body, causing excruciating pain.
Falling from here shouldn't kill you; at worst, you'll be crippled.
But Ni An can't care about that now.
She didn't want to live anymore; the world held no appeal for her.
The feeling of weightlessness gave Ni An a sense of relief.
Just when she thought she could finally be free, a panicked voice rang out: "No!"
Suddenly, his wrist tightened, and Qiang'er's strong strength pulled Ni An down from the balcony.
Thump—
Ni An fell to the ground in a sorry state, her limbs aching terribly.
But she remained expressionless, staring blankly at the crack in the floor.
The nanny gasped for breath and looked at Ni An in a panic, "Miss, why, why would you do something so foolish?"
"It's better to live a wretched life than to die a glorious death!"
Ni An chuckled, tilted her head back, and sat up stiffly.
The nanny was stunned, looking at Ni An with confusion, and said blankly, "Living is not easy, don't think about it."
If she hadn't arrived in time and pulled Ni An off the balcony, who knows what crazy things Ni An might have done.
Ni An looked at the nanny, her giggles turning into wild laughter.
She seemed to be smiling happily, but tears kept falling down her face.
What's the point of my life?
"Everything is ruined!"
Ni An screamed hysterically, "I've been betrayed by my most trusted friend!"
The nanny bit her lip, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Maybe there's a misunderstanding?"
"Since he's a friend you've taken a liking to, Miss, he shouldn't do such a thing."
Ni An laughed mockingly, "Why not?"
"She knows everything about me, and those things that are being exposed online must have been posted by her!"
"And photos!"
"She even lied and said she didn't find it!"
The nanny sighed, walked to Ni An's side, and extended her hand.
Ni An stared blankly at the mess in the villa and started crying again, "Auntie, why did she do this to me?"
The nanny paused for a moment, then held onto Ni An's arm.
"Miss, perhaps she really didn't post the photo."
"If it really was her, why didn't she choose to do it when you were at the company?"
"Only after you left the company?"
Ni An paused for a moment, then realized that what the nanny said made sense.
If Mingyao really wanted to ruin her, she wouldn't have wasted time waiting until now to expose her; she could have made it public before Mingyao even left the company.
Upon closer reflection, Mingyao had absolutely no reason to harm her.
The two of them had no vested interests, and based on her understanding of Mingyao, she wouldn't do something like stabbing Mingyao in the back.
Seeing that Ni An's expression had softened, the nanny pulled her up forcefully.
"If Miss really wants to find out, why don't you go and talk to her in person?"
"Even though you ended up having a falling out, you shouldn't let this misunderstanding worsen your relationship, right?"
Ni An nodded, regaining her composure, "Auntie, you're right."
"Perhaps it really is a misunderstanding."
"I'll go find her right now."
Ni An suddenly took a large step forward, and her vision went black as a wave of dizziness washed over her.
She held her forehead, swayed slightly, and barely managed to stay upright by gripping the nanny's hand.
"Auntie, can you make something to eat?"
"I'm so hungry."
Since last night, Ni An has not eaten anything.
Now she was so hungry that she pressed her stomach against her back, her eyes sparkling.
