Looking at the food, she thought of Pei Siyu's cold face and lost her appetite.

She ate a few bites perfunctorily and then asked Aunt Wu to put the food away.

Aunt Wu kept nagging, "Miss Su, you're so thin, your body won't be able to handle getting pregnant."

"Have some more."

"President Pei specifically instructed me to do so."

Mingyao really didn't have much of an appetite. "I have to go to work this afternoon, so I won't eat now."

As soon as she finished speaking, two nannies came over and stood guard beside Mingyao.

She paused, looking at Wu Ma with a puzzled expression: "What's going on?"

Aunt Wu said with some difficulty, "President Pei instructed me to make sure the young lady finishes her meal."

"Miss Su, you don't need to worry about being late for work. Mr. Pei is very considerate of you and has arranged for you to take leave."

Mingyao made the nanny push her back to her seat, leaving her no room to resist.

"Can we go now?"
