He knelt down and apologized to Zhong Ruyi.

In front of Ni An, he looked pitiful.

Two-faced man!

Mingyao stared at Lin Bin with a sinister look, and commanded in an unquestionable tone, "Leave immediately!"

"Otherwise, I will tell Mrs. Zhong immediately!"

Lin Bin was incredibly audacious.

Zhong Ruyi and Ni An are in the same hospital, but their wards are not on the same floor.

They coaxed Zhong Ruyi from above, and then tricked Ni An from below.

If Ni An hadn't been sitting there, Ming Yao would have slapped Lin Bin!

Meeting Mingyao's furious gaze, Lin Bin gave Ni An a deep look and said in a low voice, "I will make it up to you."

After he left the ward, Mingyao quickly walked to the bedside, stared intently at Ni An, and asked, "What did he say to you?"

Before Ni An could speak again, she continued, "Do you want to get back together with him?"

“Ni An, wake up.”

"Lin Bin doesn't love anyone; he only loves himself!"

"If you're really determined to get back together with him, then we can't be friends anymore!"

Destroying other people's marriages and relationships has crossed Mingyao's bottom line.

She can still tolerate Ni An now because Ni An has come to her senses and corrected her mistakes.

Ni An took Ming Yao's hand and stared intently into her eyes.

"Don't worry, I won't make up with him!"

"He came to see me suddenly, so..."

She bit her lip and looked at Mingyao apologetically, "Sister Su, after what happened last time, I've seen his true colors."

Mingyao felt relieved and handed the food to Ni An, saying, "As long as you can see his true colors, that's enough."

"Lin Bin doesn't love you at all. He has been badmouthing you in front of Zhong Ruyi."

Ni An hummed in agreement, smiled, and said, "Don't worry."

Mingyao got angry just thinking about Lin Bin's face.

She never expected Lin Bin to be so shameless, trying to fool Ni An when he couldn't fool Zhong Ruyi!

The phone rang, and Mingyao gasped when she saw the caller ID on the screen.

Why did Pei Siyu call so quickly?

After quickly hanging up the phone, she looked at Ni An and said, "You should rest well in the hospital. I've already paid the hospital fees."

"I have other things to take care of, so I'll be leaving now."

As Mingyao turned around, Ni An called out to her, "Sister Su, wait a moment."

"he……"

Ni An paused, then asked somewhat awkwardly, "He said he still has feelings for me. What if he starts harassing me again?"

Her voice grew softer and softer until it was barely audible.

Mingyao frowned, her gaze towards Ni An becoming even sharper. "Not a single word he uttered was true."

You don't believe me, do you?!

Ni An paused for a moment, then shook her head repeatedly, explaining, "No, I'm afraid he'll harass me."

"If he harasses you, call me."

"I'm really leaving now. Keep in touch."

After saying that, Mingyao quickly left the ward.

Watching the direction she left, Ni An's expression was conflicted. Finally, she murmured, "Sister Su, I'm sorry."

Running downstairs to the hospital, the cold wind hit her, and Mingyao frowned and sneezed.

As autumn approaches, the evening wind carries a chill.

Suddenly, my body felt warm.

Mingyao was stunned for a moment, then looked up and met Pei Siyu's cold gaze.

"Get in the car."

His face was as cold as ice, and his voice was even colder, devoid of any warmth.

Mingyao stared blankly at the coat covering her, feeling warm and cozy, and smelling of mint.

Is he concerned about himself?

Mingyao tightened her coat and followed closely behind Pei Siyu.

"Thank you, Mr. Pei."

Pei Siyu glanced at her indifferently, while Ming Yao looked at him with a smile on her face.

Her smile was like the rising sun, radiant and bright, silently illuminating everything.

Pei Siyu's heart skipped a beat, and the strange feeling in his heart grew stronger.

He quickly withdrew his scrutinizing gaze, climbed into the carriage, his face darkened, and a storm was brewing between his brows.

As soon as Mingyao sat down, she felt the icy aura emanating from him.

Weren't you just concerned about her? How did your attitude change so suddenly?

This change of heart is as fast as turning the pages of a book.

Upon arriving at the Pei family mansion, Mingyao got out of the car and looked at Pei Siyu.

Pei Siyu closed his eyes, as if he were closing his gaze.

Mingyao was about to remind him that they had arrived home when Pei Siyu suddenly said, "Keep driving."

The assistant was also taken aback for a moment, and asked hesitantly, "Mr. Pei, wasn't the company's work finished?"

Are you questioning me?

Pei Siyu opened his eyes, his pupils, as black as a deep pool, emitting a cold light.

The assistant's expression changed, and he dared not argue further. "Yes!"

Mingyao also felt something was off and asked in a low voice, "President Pei, do you have other things to do?"

Pei Siyu gave her a cold look, didn't answer, and rolled up the window.

Mingyao: "???"

Is he alright? This is so strange.

Watching the car drive away, Mingyao was completely bewildered.

If she's not coming back, she's not coming back. Why are you treating her so coldly?

Mingyao pouted and ranted in the direction the car had disappeared, "Who cares if you come back with me!"

She ripped off her coat and almost impulsively threw it into the trash can.

After driving some distance, the assistant cautiously asked, "Mr. Pei, where are we going?"

"Jindi Bar".

"yes."

After sending a text message, Pei Siyu closed his eyes, and Mingyao's smiling face appeared before him again.
