Later, this dynasty was renamed the Holy Sky Dynasty. Although the character "圣" (holy) remained unchanged, the character "琼" (jade) was changed to "穹" (sky).

Mo Beichen continued to explain that the Second Continent was originally just a place scattered with small countries.

The heads of these two families shared a deep bond. Weary of endless strife, they decided to work together to unify the entire Second Continent. "Initially, neither family was interested in becoming emperor, as they had struggled along the way and experienced the hardships involved. I heard that they discussed it for more than half a year before reaching an agreement that each family would take turns being emperor for a hundred years, in order to avoid dictatorship and tyranny destroying the original intention of unifying the continent. Since the beginning of the world, they have lived in peace."

Both families were highly competitive and worked diligently to become good emperors. As a result, the people lived in peace and the dynasty prospered. In particular, two hundred years ago, there was a faint trend of them surpassing the First Continent.

Later, when the Qiong Dynasty came to power, seeing how strong and prosperous the dynasty had become, with its full treasury and powerful army, it became somewhat arrogant. Not only did it oppose the First Continent, but it also neglected state affairs and only knew how to enjoy itself. It took nearly a hundred years of hard work by three generations to make the dynasty prosperous again and the people's lives gradually improved.

Throughout the century of the Holy Dynasty's rule, the Qiong family never ceased their rebellions. However, out of consideration for the promise made by their founding ancestor, the Holy family never pursued the matter to the death, but instead granted them honorable status.

However, having grown accustomed to the power of the pyramids, they were unwilling to be subservient to others, so the Joan dynasty never ceased its conquests of the Holy Dynasty.

"And then what happened?" Yun Qingluo asked, her interest piqued.

"In the end, they completely angered the Holy Dynasty. When the hundred-year term expired, instead of returning the throne to the Qiong Dynasty, they changed the name of the dynasty to the Holy Sky Dynasty and announced to the whole continent that the Qiong family would never have the possibility of becoming emperors again, and banished them to the edge of a continent."

Mo Beichen was in a dilemma. He was reluctant to leave Zeyan to handle state affairs, but if he took Zeyan with him, he would have to stay, which was not an option.

“It wouldn’t be a problem to have the Grand Tutor and Grand Preceptor help oversee the country for a while,” Mo Beichen suddenly remembered the two people and said to Yun Qingluo with a smile.

Yun Qinglu glared at him, "Whose empire is this anyway?"
