Mobeichen, t...
Mo Zhiyuan didn't understand the first part, but when she heard "tangyuan" (glutinous rice balls), her eyes lit up immediately. "Wow, I want to eat tangyuan! The black sesame filling is so delicious!"
Mo Junye and Yun Zixie looked at each other in silence.
"Alright, come on, show us! Little princess and little prince, watch closely!" After saying that, Yun Zixie used his lightness skill and somersaulted, standing on the artificial hill.
This action drew cheers from Mo Zhiyuan, "Wow, great! Wow, Third Uncle, you're so amazing! Even Brother Cheng Xuan can't do that. I want to learn too! Third Uncle, will you teach me?"
Yun Zixie rose again and leaped up, breaking off a plum blossom branch, and performed a sword dance in the snow.
"Wow, so handsome! Is this the handsome guy Mom was talking about? Third Uncle, you're amazing! Wow, so handsome!" Mo Zhiyuan clapped her hands and cheered.
Mo Junye looked on with a hint of helplessness.
Mo Zhiyuan retorted, "Hmph, then brother, tell me, how should we praise Third Uncle?"
“The piled stones are like jade, the rows of pines are like emeralds, and his beauty is unparalleled, unmatched in the world.” Mo Junye blurted out without the slightest hesitation.
"Hmph, you have your Grand Tutor Grandfather to teach you, but the Grand Tutor doesn't teach me anything." Mo Zhiyuan put her hands on her hips and turned her head to huff.
Mo Junye stared in disbelief. "Mo Zhiyuan, if the Grand Tutor knew what you were thinking, he'd probably rush from home to Father and complain about you. You made the Grand Tutor so angry he was practically fuming, and you've already forgotten?"
Upon hearing this, Mo Zhiyuan seemed to recall the incident in the academy where she had angered the Grand Tutor, and couldn't help but feel a little guilty.
"What are you two whispering about? How was my sword dance? Wasn't it powerful and invincible?" Yun Zixie saw the two little ones chatting away, with no one watching him, so he stopped his sword dance and walked over to look at them.
Mo Zhiyuan immediately took the plum blossom branch that Yun Zixie had used for sword dancing and pestered Yun Zixie to teach her.
Yun Zixie chuckled, "You're still young. Be a good boy and learn to do the horse stance. Your foundation isn't stable; you'll have trouble even standing on one leg."
Mo Zhiyuan retorted defiantly, "Hmph, you all bully me? I can take it!"
Eager to prove herself, she immediately lifted one foot after speaking, wanting to demonstrate that she could stand on one leg.
Yun Zixie was startled. Before he could even reach out his hand, he heard a scream of pain.
The little princess fell headfirst into the snow beside her, but luckily the snow was thick and she was wearing thick clothes, so she didn't get hurt too badly.
"Get up quickly, tsk tsk, look at you, head down, mouth full of snow, aren't you cold?" Yun Zixie couldn't help but laugh when he saw Mo Zhiyuan covered in snow.
Mo Zhiyuan wasn't actually hurt from the fall, but seeing Yun Zixie smiling, she thought he was making fun of her and burst into tears.
Yun Zixie panicked immediately, quickly picked up the little guy and rushed into Yun Qingluo's house, not forgetting to scoop up Mo Junye and tuck him under her arm.
"Sister, sister, your daughter is crying. Little princess, don't cry, don't cry. It's your third uncle's fault. Don't cry. How about your third uncle helps you build a snowman?" Yun Zixie called out to Yun Qingluo while coaxing Mo Zhiyuan.
Please don't cry.
If his eldest brother, second brother, and father find out, he'll be in deep trouble.
Everyone in her family is a doting granddaughter and niece; they can't make Mo Zhiyuan shed a tear, even if it makes Mo Junye cry.
Yun Qingluo had already finished washing up and was leisurely sitting by the window reading medical books.
A clear, yet somewhat mournful cry broke the tranquility.
Yun Qingluo's heart tightened, and she hurriedly put down the medical book in her hand and rushed towards the direction from which the crying was coming.
Before long, Yun Zixie strode into the house, holding two children tightly in his arms.
Yun Qingluo strode forward and immediately spotted Mo Zhiyuan, whose face was streaked with tears and who was crying her eyes out.
She took Mo Zhiyuan from the ground and gently stroked Mo Zhiyuan's little head, coaxing her softly, "Zhiyuan, be good, don't cry, don't cry, or you'll turn into a little kitten and won't be pretty anymore. Oh dear, look at all this snowflakes on you, did you fall down by accident? Come on, let's quickly change into some clean and warm clothes."
As she spoke, Yun Qingluo stood up, carefully picked up Mo Zhiyuan, and turned to walk into the inner room.
At the same time, Yun Tao, who was standing nearby, cleverly replied, "I'll go find some dry clothes right away." After saying that, she quickly left.
Before entering the inner room, Yun Qingluo turned back to look at Yun Zixie, who was still standing there with a look of self-reproach on his face, and comforted him, "Don't take it to heart. Children are just like that. It's normal for them to cry and fuss. Don't worry about it too much."
Yun Zixie, however, wore a bitter expression and looked worried. He muttered to himself, "Sigh, it's all my fault for not taking good care of this little guy. If my eldest and second brothers find out, I'm afraid I'll get a good beating."
At this moment, Mo Junye, who had been standing obediently to the side, reached out her little hand and gently patted the back of Yun Zixie's hand, saying in a childish voice, "Third Uncle, don't worry. I can testify for you that this is not your fault. It was Mo Zhiyuan who fell like this because she was being naughty."
Upon hearing this, Yun Zixie felt deeply remorseful for his previous remarks. He thought to himself, "Look how sensible my nephew is! He deserves to die. He actually thought it would be better to let Mo Junye cry than to let Mo Zhiyuan shed a tear."
"Good nephew, you're so kind." Yun Zixie patted Mo Junye on the back.
After changing her clothes, when Yun Qingluo carried Mo Zhiyuan out again, Mo Zhiyuan had stopped crying and was holding a piece of candy in her hand.
Yun Qingluo placed Mo Zhiyuan on the ground.
Mo Zhiyuan walked awkwardly to Yun Zixie and said in a soft voice, "Third Uncle, it was Zhiyuan who fell down. It's not your fault. I'm sorry for scaring you."
